New Story - Meri Dost Mujjse Pyar Karogi

Part 3:

Four hours down Rinky was happily in a deep slumber while Mihir was struggling to sleep. Her proximity was killing him. How much he wanted to take her in his arms and sleep a peaceful sleep. He slowly snugged into Rinky's pillow and made her sleep over his chest. It was indeed a divine feeling to have her in his arms. He felt elixir of love when she snugged into his chest further and slept. In the pleasure of this feeling he to drifted into a peaceful sleep.

Morning, Mihir was still sleeping unlike everyday as he had slept late. When Rinky was up she felt very different. That's when she realized her position. She had cocooned herself on to Mihir. Her head resting on his chest and her hand hugging him. Mihir had held her protectively and bent down with his lips on her forehead and one of his legs over her. She felt like being married for the first time after marriage. They were sleeping like a typical couple who had slept after making love. The mere thought made her blush. She didn't know what to call these feelings. She tried to pull herself off his hold only to be held stronger. He murmured in his sleep

Rinky Stay here, don't go anywhere

Rinky was confused what to do. She managed to finally get out of his hold without disturbing him. She freshened up and made the morning tea and Mihir walked out of their room after brushing. She saw her. Her hair little untidy and in the trax pant and shirt was looking very cute. Time and again she tried to move the hair that was disturbing her eyesight. He slowly moved closer to her and tugged the string of hair on to her ears. She blushed shyingly. To escape the uncomfortable situation she spoke up

R: Mihir app baitiye mai chai lathe hun. ( Mihir You sit, I will get you your tea)

M: Kya Rinky aaj Biwiyo wali harthe kar rahi ho. Jaldi utt gaye, chai pila rahi ho. Irada kya hai. (What Rinky you are behaving like a wife today, you got up early, you are making tea) he said with a naughty smile

She was shocked by his suggestive question post the morning encounter. She composed herself and smiled to answer him

R: I have got up as per my regular time only. It's you who has got up late. Daily you make tea for me can I not help you for a day?

Mihir just smiled at her reaction so defensively and was feeling happy she too was disturbed by his proximity and tried to back hug her

R: Mihir what are you doing?

M: Hugging my wife, can I not do it?

R: Mihir these are done by typical couple, we are not those typical couples. Leave me

M: Can we not try to be one? I thought you were also up for this

R: I don't know Mihir, whatever feeling I have for you I don't know what they are. Nor do I understand yours as well. I do realize you have been trying to be cosy with me, but Iam not sure if this is just a physical attraction that's forced in arranged marriages or love.

Her words made him thoughtful and he removed his hand from her. Both parted and she continued making the tea and he moved to glance the newspaper. Though he was flipping the pages of the newspaper his thoughts were around what she mentioned. Was it love or lust? Rest of the breakfast and tea was a silent affaire and they left for work and college.

Later during the day Vandu akka had called him for help. Apparently Mihika had not been lifting her phone calls and Vandhu akka and Bala finally had to tell Mihir about the whole truth about Ashok and Mihika fiasco and sought his help to get in touch with Mihika. When they reached Ashok's place they evidenced Ashok trying to force himself on Mihika and Ashok was beaten up blue and black by Mihir & Bala. He was arrested too. When they got Mihika home Mihir convinced her, comforted her and all felt guilty about their behavior with Mihika. Mihir hugged Mihika while comforting her, Rinky did notice it.

She felt she had come in between Mihir and Mhika. She did know the true worth of love. She also had a heart break. She felt being forced on Mihir unnecessarily. She felt now Mihir will think before getting together with Mihika because of her. But she was contemplating about her own feelings, but why was she feeling bad about the closeness of Mihir and Mihika. She did realize feeling good about Mihir's closeness towards her but she felt it was physical attraction. But why was she feeling bad when she felt Mihir would drift away from her. She was not sure why was her heart aching with a mere thought of Mihir being away from her.

On the other hand Mihir was happy. He was guilty though for his behavior with Mihika. He was upset with the play destiny had played with him. But when he hugged Mihika he felt a new feeling today. He felt like he met up warmly with his friend and not the earlier feeling. Now he related his feeling with Rinky. It was similar to how he felt with Mihika earlier before her marriage. Now he was sure about his feeling. He was clear that Mihika is his special friend and Rinky is his lady love. He convinced himself to do 2 things one to express his feeling of love to Rinky and other help his special friend Mihika to get out of the trauma she had created in her life because of him.

After consoling Mihika and the dinner Mihir and Rinky left home. Rinky didn't see Mihir moving towards the couch even today. When she came after changing she saw him glancing a magazine sitting on the bed. She didn't say anything. Was it her own insecurities about her position in his life or it was the mere turn of events of the day she simply walked down and assumed her position to her side of the bed. She laid down removing her specs. Mihir closed the magazine he was glancing as though he was waiting for her and switched the lights off. She breathed a sigh of relief to and tried to close her eyes. Little did she know that he was preparing for a shocking surprise.

Slowly she felt a strong hand moving over her waist. It was his. She opened her eyes in shock. Hers breathe started becoming heavier. He didn't stop there, slowly he kept grazing her waist top to bottom and spoke up

M: Rinky are you asleep

Shocked was an understatement. She was wearing a suit luckily she thought. His hands on her clothed waist were sending cool shivers them what would have happened if she had worn a sari. She composed herself to answer him

R: Hmm , no Mihir.

M: I want to sleep with my hands on you, do you mind

He asked her genuinely. She knew he was a decent man. She wandered what made him ask her when he was sleeping so last night as well. She then realized that it was only she who knew he had hugged her in the middle of the night and she was up before him and there was no possibility that he knew that. She wanted to give him the request he was making. She was his friend after all, all she wanted was him to be happy. He was her husband as well. It was his right. She herself wanted to fall in his arms and secure her position in his life. She was battling her own feelings from the time she had seen Mihika in his arms. She was continuously convincing herself that it was not jealousy or insecurity while that was it.

While she was batting with her emotions, Mihir felt she was not happy about the idea and he also remembered their morning conversation. He did know that he had pulled her on to him last night after she slept. But today he wanted her proximity badly to sleep. He wanted to revive the feeling of the new found love for her. But her lack of reactions made him thoughtful and he pulled his hand away.

M: iam sorry Rinky. You sleep.

Rinky felt as though the surface beneath her leg was leaving way. She also wanted that proximity she realized it the moment he took his hand away from her. In a quick whirl she was right on his chest. Just the way she had slept last night. She hugged him and he felt elated. He gave a cool but yet a romantic smile when she looked up to see him.

Sleep now he said hugging her back and patting on her head. Both slept a peaceful slumber after so many days.

Next evening Mihir was waiting for Raman at their favorite bar at CP. Raman arrived both hugged each other and exchanged pleasantries. Slowly Mihir spoke up

M: Bhai you know I don't have any other close friends that you. You had been my Jiju earlier and then went to become my bhai, friend, philosopher and guide. Now iam your Sala to, I know its awkward but who do I discuss this, isiliya maine apko bulaya.( That's why I called you)

R: abbe Mihir 1980 kya senti hero bolna na jo bolna hai( Mihir my dear 1980's senti hero, tell me whatever you want me to tell)

M: Bhai, mujje realize ho gaya hai ki Mujje Rinky ache lagthe hai, You know what I mean. Mai iss Rishthey ko agge badana chahatha hun. Rinky ko patane ne mai mura help karo na.( Bhai I realized that I like Rinky a lot. I want to take this relationship forward. Please help me make her fall for me)

R: Abbe Bahi hun uska, mujje hi patane ki tarkeeb maang raaha hai.( Iam her brother and you seeking ideas from me only)

M: That's why I was hesitant and you were making fun of me

R: Mai kya tujje tarkeeb bolunga, Shadhi k eek saal ke baad bhi I love you nehi bol paya their Bhai Janshi ki Ranbi se. Tut oh mujje se better hai shadhi ke 1^st mehine mai hi realize hogaya tujje.( What idea will I give, I have not even said I love you to your Bhabi even after one year of your marriage. You are better you realized within one month.)

M: Bhai apke duk bari dasthan sunne nehi ayah un, idea do. Waise toh bade romantic hero banthe ho aur mujje phattu bolthe ho( Bhai, I don't want your sad story. Tell me an idea, otherwise you always boast about being Romantic and I being pattu)

R: Tik hai Tik hai rothu kayneka kuch soctha hun. Mai duniya ka phala bhai hun jisne apne kud ki bbhen ko patane ki idea diya ho. Adhi nikathe hai mai kuch sochke tujje call kartha hun. Waise phele hi phi rake hai humne, aur late bhi javunga toh Janshi Ki Rani ajj meri class legi.( Ok Ok don't be a cry baby. I will think of something. By the way I would have been the first brother on earth who would be giving ideas to flirt with my own sister. Lets leave now else my JSKR will take my class as Iam drunk)

M: bhai app Bhabhi see kithna daar the hoh.( How much are you afraid of Bhabhi)

R: Sadhi kay eh hi side effect hota hai. Pathi kudke gar me dar dark e jiye. Waise don't worry Delli tere liye bhi abb bhut door nehi hai. The day Rinky realizes that you love her she will also take you like this. These women have the art of taming the lion into a cat you are anyways a cat what the big deal.( These are side effects of being married. Man lives in his own house with so much fear. The day is not far for you as well)

Both laugh and leave for their respective homes.
