Sorry I had not been able to respond but there are few posts I always look forward to.. Yours is one... As you bring out the indepth insight into every important scene. Thank you for doing that every day. No problem... you guys are the only people that will 'listen' to this... if I didn't have this thread to vent and gush i don't know what I'd do. no one IRL knows the level of my obsession... nor would they engage in simultaneous gushing/venting/psychoanalyzing... so I appreciate it. Today i honestly didn't have much to say but I just felt compelled to write something and so...this. 🤢
Yes all those relationships/characters you specified in your post.. Are what made YhM so exclusive to me.. It always used to have strong side characters .. All of that started changing like you said, in trying to 'glorify ' Shagun .. Bals and vandita have been sort of forgotten...I always enjoyed Bala ishita interaction .. TG Atleast we seem them back .. For how long God knows. Bala-Ishita, Ishita-Romi , Raman-Miku & Raman -Shravu ...I really miss these because it shows the interconnectedness of the families. This is not ISHRARU'S love story, YHM is the Bhalla-Iyer clan love story... and with Shagun and the time slot switch it seems we've lost that magic. Hopefully we will get that back soon. I'm seeing glimpses, but it's still too soon to predict anything.
Romi ishita relationship I always enjoyed .. I remember his efforts of bringing Bhabi back after Param fiasco.. Or his JJ side kick mode during license track... And it's good to see him finding that one adult in his family who is helping him get out of his mopey self and make himself useful .
I didn't enjoy the bg score during raman Rinki scne.. Turned it into a cliched BW scene .. But the fact is raman is the father figure in his siblings' eyes .. They love him and don't defy his instructions .. It's a beautiful bond they all share .. And like you said.. Ishita has stepped into that role of the protective maternal figure in their lives too.. Romi has always been @ Ishu's side in general...I still recall the look on his face @ Lohri when pretty much everyone else in the Bhalla clan seemed okay with Adhi's ridiculous demand... Romi was clearly displeased to say the least. They have a very special relationship and I am so glad the CVs finally remembered that...AG's look as ISHRA danced yesterday certainly indicated that he remembered the depth of that connection...*sigh* hope this relationship continues to move forward. And Rinki's relationship with ISHRA is so sweet as well. Though they seem to take a parental role with her it's clear that for she not just adores but also admires them as people- their opinions in everything, they are her role models for n ideal man, woman and relationship... really sweet.
And that is what Shagun doesn't get because it's beyond her scope of understanding. She schemes her way into people's lives and ishita wins hearts by her nature. Each of the bond she has with each member of the bhalla house is not just because she's Raman's wife... It's because she truly hold them dear to her heart and they reciprocate that.. And that includes Shagun's own sibling... And from the looks of it.. Adi too. Exactly. No matter what, even if Ishita did what Shagun alleges, they will forgive and accept her as Ishita told Shagun because it's her family. Her bond with each individual and with the unit is so strong that she is the centre of much of their world now... Shagun is only the centre of her own world!🤢
Im looking for Slapathon.. Fron ishita.. Come on show her the JKR avatar .. But don't waste your word on her hare brain... Use some slaps to make the point across. I'm right there with you . I don not condone violence in any means but this woman has had tit coming. If she were a man I'd say she needs a thrashing from the Bhalla brothers, similar to what Param got... but since she isn't I really want Ishu to make good on her threats to slap... seems this is the only language Shagun understands... only bad side about #Shagun Slap-a-thon is that we're going to have to hear the screeching voice again... gawd do you remember that SHASHOK wedding fiasco? so.much. screeching.🤢 #but I'm willing to pay the price😉 #The destination is worth the journey😆
