Finally we got an episode which bore resemblance to what YHM used to be like...one where Raman and Ishita felt like the ones we are accustomed to. We got to see them as in true couple mode..

Scenario 1: Ruthna

She was feeling guilty(oh Ishita? !😲..khair chhodo) because lost her cool with Raman and for doubting him. He was feeling guilty; period. But it was killing both of them. Their eyes spoke to each other what their lips couldn't. Their eyes held attention for each other and they were lost in each other in the midst of a crowd, their longing palpable .( finally a beautiful and apt background score tying to the mood of our lead couple)

...till Raman decides to take the first step...(good use of the supporting cast rather than just staring mutely 😆)

Scenario 2: Manana

How cute was that...when a heartfelt handwritten sorry is all you need to melt ice after a fight . Ishita softened the minute her eyes laid on the note...knowing who it is from...A couple in love don't need elaborate declarations...sometimes little heartfelt gesture is all it takes.

Scenario 3 : Sharing

Finally after ages we got to see our lovebirds talking about themselves after a while...about his ex, sharing Jokes (CVs had landed on Doc's PopcornS thread🤣), couple banter and a cute pillow fight...One of those insignificant communications that strengthens a couple's understanding each other. It would have been more enjoyable if the unwanted eavesdropper was not parked outside their door.🤢

Please put that woman to some productive work! ...idle minds, especially the ones filled with air, are devil's workshop...and this one doesn't do anything other than stalking and raising her one eyebrow . Shagun also seemed very interested in the convo about Romi...probably scouting for people for her camp.

Notes:

Jagga Jasoos and JKR is showing signs of re-emerging...as was Raman as a disciplinarian Papa
So the camps are now divided..Ishita v Shagun and Adi v Ruhi...and more stress for Raman
Tattoo for 12 year old "bachcha" ...as Mother Son bonding session...how "cool"!😡
That was kinda crass ribbing that poor Rami endured in front of an outsider.
The voice overs were so obvious today...Can the YHM technical team get any worse?

Comeing to Epi it was enjoyable... as always loved ishra scenes... The BG song ishq bulava ishra's intense Eyelock... that sorry note written Sorry...Ravan Kumar ( By Raman to ishu) and ishu's heart melting on hubby's this sweet gesture... ishu resting her head on Raman's shoulder those Beautiful smiles on our lovebirds faces... awww sooo cute

The next ishra scen was also nice.. shagun bitching by ishra 😆 loved how Raman comfortably talked about shagun he knows ishu trust him how strong relation they share... and that cute pillow fight 😳 oh god shagun doing watchmangiri this woman 😡

Adi V Ruhi as you said more stress for Raman...

Shagun allowing Adi to get a tattoo really what yo say... 🤢

Today's episode was really very very special... It showed a range of emotions today... Will try to cover some of them:

Love and passion: Today, in the first Ishra scene, these two emotions can't be separated... Right from that cold stare on Tandon's entry till that patch up, these two emotions overtook these souls... Raman's passionate eyes followed Ishita everywhere making her blush profusely... Amidst the presence of the whole family, in front of that lit pyre, Ishra's passionate eye locks stole the show... Slowly, a message was given and she saw that her Raavan kumar wrote a sorry on a small piece of paper... Message was really short and recycled but the genuineness in those words melted Ishita... Raman finally got that much awaited lovely smile of his wife... With a small assurance that his family is busy with celebrations, Raman finally slid his arms around Ishita's shoulders to get lost in her...

Diffidence: When Raman took those steps to convince his wife, his shyness attracted my attention...making YHM special again. This man is crazily in love to have eyes for anyone else apart from his wife but he never crosses the limits of decency at any cost... The way he guards the intimacy is just remarkable... Raman turned twice to ensure that no one is looking at them... Hats off to cv's for giving attention to these small details relating to the leads character sketch... Raman stole my heart with that gesture...

Anger: On understanding Shagun's game, Ishita felt angry... She felt bad for that kid again... She understood that Shagun is behind these misunderstandings and decided to capitalise on this emotion by suppressing it for the time being and decided to act wisely.

Jealousy: Yes...It was there...in the most unexpected moment...When Raman was making fun of Shagun, one soul was fuming outside but another soul was fuming inside... For the first time, there was no life in that smile of Ishita... She didn't want that woman between her and Raman... She didn't want to be compared with that woman... That emotion subtly came out in that question... She questioned him...That he loved the same woman before and finally they drifted away from their topic with their usual nok-jhok...

Detachment: Romi detached himself from his family... Romi has never been a good boy till date. But, he was hopeful of getting this promotion. When his own family considered him unfit, he slowly detached himself... This track will come back soon to haunt us because there was a naagin listening to the same...

After a long time, Shagun's presence couldn't do the damage today... The epi was brilliant... cv's...Keep up the good work...

This may be the first episode in a while I will rewatch for fun!

I've watched today's episode 2x times now. It displayed exactly what YHM is about - simple moments between people. Yes the drama progresses the story, but so do these simple moments. Episodes like today highlight the various shades of people without being cringe-worthy.

In this episode, can see how how the decisions of various characters eventually impacts them. The best example is Romi. He started out as a spoiled brat, looked like he was improving, but then lost the respect he slowly built up through the Sarika kaand. Now we can see the groundwork being laid for another test for Romi. When Param tried to poison his mind, he stuck with his family, but now the question is - will his family ties hold him back from further creating any further damage? Yes the family may have gone too far in teasing him, but what has Romi done thus far to prove them wrong?

The Puttar & Missus are the epitome of a classy romantic couple. There is intensity and passion between the two, but today Puttar took it another step further and let her know that they share something SO much deeper than just physical attraction. I so want to find a Puttar of my own some day! lol 😳

So I can fully enjoy this episode, I am choosing to ignore how dumbed down they made everyone during Pomgal-Lohri episodes I hope the CVs redistribute everyone's brains ASAP! We've gotten our original JKR back but now I want our Puttar back in full form!

We know there are many more tests and tribulations ahead for our favorite couple, but if the CVs can actually manage to find a balance between the drama (toning down the OTTness) & normal episodes, they will have struck gold!

Last bit of muft advice for the CVs- YHM is really special because it has a FANTASTIC supporting cast. Please find a balance between highlighting the main leads & the supporting cast.

Overall the biggest issue the CVs have is the lack of balance, but I have faith they can find it soon.

@Gan - I'm so happy we got multiple collages today, and thanks for the shout out in your main post! ❤️

P.S., based off the precap & OLV, looks like Shagun is sacrificing her tiny blouses to try to emulate Ishita in a last-ditch effort to "capture" Raman with her til! 🤣

Ok so I don't know if what I'm gonna say is rant or frustration or feedback or just my overly high expectations!!! But here I go anyway

While I must admit the epi was much much better in terms of content than what have been doled out in the last few weeks, there are still a few questions I have!

1. Its wonderful that Ishita is regaining her precious detective skills and her antenna is working the right direction.. but why did Ishita who has always been shown to allay Ruhi's negative thoughts (about her dad earlier) this time spell out her suspicions about Adi loud? I mean isn't this the woman who even when Raman was really hurting Ruhi, convince her that her father loves her and when her brother was rude to her convince her that he loves her? Why then now, when Ruhi asks her a suspicious question does Ishita reply in a way that would make Ruhi think her brother was indeed planning something? I have no qualms about the thinking aloud part in the bedroom cos that atleast was ok given the fact that evesdropping is the way characters know of what's happening around them in this show for sometime now (yeah facepalm and headdesk). But the parking lot scene to me was a slight disappointment given Ishita's behaviour in the past.

2. Diwali gaya, Christmas gaya, Lohri gaya, I hope the Cvs are keeping track of how many moths are passing cos I'm having a feeling Sarika's is gonna be an even longer pregnancy than Vandita's. And with this random Dubai thingy and bhai doesn't respect me thingy, they are looking at a new track for Romi. Wonder what happened to Sarika's badla! She must be in holiday with Mani and Param!!! Some trio that is!! Phew.

3. Much as I loved the grammar talk between Raman and Ishita, I must say I really really wish they would've discussed Ruhi's outburst instead. I get it that Shagun was evesdropping so it had to be something that would irk her but why couldn't Ruhi's love for Ishita and comparing Shagun's horrifying mothering to Ishita's have not done the trick??? I mean seriously!! Your 6 year old daughter screamed so much saying so many things in front of so many people - yes I agree it was nice to hear n all that - but won't you as parents be worried or atleast so much as think or atleast mention it to each other? I was hoping for just one line saying "Adi ke chakkar mein kahin hum Ruhi ko tho ignore nai kar rahe? Humein uspe bhi dhyana dena hoga!!!" Would it have hurt the storyline in any way???

But sigh!!! Beggars can't be choosers and I know that! So with all the grouse, I'd still say yesterday was one of the better epis!!!

The good - a) Raman apologised and properly!

b) Ishita's jaga jasoos mode and upcoming JKR mode

c) Ruhi knows that Adi is doing wrong things

So yaay to all of that!!!

And my two bits for the Cvs -

1) Please wake up and wake up your technical time!! The VOs are horribly patched! I could do a better job than that!

2) Look for houses without doors hereafter cos u clearly don't intend on using them!

3) Can you please please stop wasting the talent u have on ur hands and put them to best use instead???

4) Do see the epi once before u put it out so u would know the audience isn't blind!!!!
