Adi's struggle between selfish mom and spineless dad.

It is so unfortunate for Adi ( or any child) that he is stuck between a selfish mom like Shagun and spineless dad like Raman.
When Shagun left Raman taking Adi with her, he did not seem to fight enough to get Adi back from her. He was busy pining for Shagun and trying to prove her that he is not the worthless piece of crap that she thought he is. In the process he lost touch with both his children. While trying to prove he is man enough for Shagun, he lost as father. That shows how emotionally weak he is.
Even now he is not being sensible and tell Adi the truth behind the whole mess, let him know that Shagun cannot stay in his house and let him decide what he wants to do. Adi is not a child. He has the right to know the truth of the situation. Adi has to decide if he wants to stay with Bhallas without Shagun or he wants to stay with Shagun away from bhallas. There is something called tough love . Raman's weak love is damaging his son and spoiling his own life. Raman shouted at Ishita for giving false hopes to Adi. But he himself is not strong enough to tell Adi the truth of his situation.
Raman is so spineless and weak to let that characterless female Shagun stay with them .
Shagun is portraying as if she is abla naari and bechaari infront of Adi. As no one seems to care about her, he thinks he needs to make his Mom happy as Ruhi thinks she needs to take care of Ishima.
Adi is another dumb character who believes everything his mom says. It is surprising to see how he cannot see through her lies.
There are no words how they turned Shagun into. She has become such a shameless, pathetic woman that she wants to come back to Raman after having 6 years affair with another man. Even now she does not love or respect Raman. She just wants to lead a parasitic life with any man who is rich enough to provide the lifestyle she wants.
Currently I feel no woman deserves a man like RKB, who is so emotionally weak. We can live without much money but cannot live with a person who cannot get his priorities straight and make tough, rational decisions when needed.
It is a big question why Raman cannot put mother son duo in a seperate house and just provide for them and have Adi visit bhallas once in a while.
Is he going to let Shagun stay till Adi bonds with Ishita? What is your agenda Mr. RKB?

He can easily support adi and be strict with him...but no...

Adi does not know what a mother's love is...when he sheds his ego and attitude he will clearly see what is mothers love in ishita. .

agree with you! no matter how macho raman pretends to be, he is a weak individual without a back bone. Shagun is a characterless woman, and ishita is a dumb fool. The only ppl on the show who are good are vandu and bala. raman and ishitas dads

Adi is not a small child. He is old enough to scheme and manipulate. He is old enough to understand that his parents cannot remain together.

You made this point very well. Adi feels he needs to support his mother and Ruhi feels she needs to support her Ishima. These children should not feel this way. It is a burden that they bear. With proper boundaries and parenting how much more balanced they would be.

Adi is fast down the path of destruction because of his selfish characterless mom and a weak dad who cannot save his son from the pathetic female called Shagun.
IMO shagun is worse than Param as param molests grownups, but this female is doing emotional atyachar of her own son for her own selfish needs and Raman is no less culprit because he is letting that happen.
