The birthday cum engagement party was moving on in full swing. Each guest was enjoying the prefect arrangement done by the Bhalla family.

Shagun was throwing fits in between but when her own daughter and husband gave her a miss, nobody else too bothered to care for her.

Soon all the elders blessed the couple and mehandi cum sangeet function started.

The mehandi ladies started applying mehandi on her arms. The other ladies of the house too got their hands filled with mehandi.

Raman who was made to sit just besides Ishita could not keep his eyes off her. He was just staring at her shamelessly.

It was an early morning Kalyaanam first. Raman specially dressed himself in typical Veshti and a yellow angavastram over his shoulder. Ishita was dressed in a red Kanjeevaram saree and decked up in lots of flowers.

Raman came for Janavasam where Appa gave him new set of clothes and then all proceeded for the nichayathartham ceremony.

Ishita's cousin did the ceremony honoring Raman placing a garland around his neck. Then both the families sat for the writing of lagna patrika.

Amma and Appa got too emotional when the priest read the lagna patrika.

Bhallas for whom everything was so new were enjoying to the fullest.

Raman's throat literally choked when Appa told him about the Kashi Yatra. He boldly refused to run.

Now they were made to sit on the swing for the oonjal. All the relatives swung the couple and while everything was going on, finally he got the time to compliment her.
