One of television's most loved actors, Karan Patel opened up to us for a quick chat. Excerpts:

What are the pros and cons of being famous?
The biggest perk is the love you receive from your fans it makes me feel truly blessed. About the disadvantages, I'd say that it makes you conscious of how you project yourself outside. It doesn't mean that you stop living your life. For instance, I like to go out, party with my friends and smoke. Now I don't advocate smoking, but I can't stop despite my efforts to get rid of the habit.

Are there nicknames given to you by your fans that you like?
Mr Sexy Patel is something I have come across recently. Apparently, this is the hash tag they use on all my pictures on social media.

Is there something about you and your co-stars that the fans don't know?
Divyanka (Tripathi) and I are good friends. We're not there to cut each other's throats as people assume. In fact, I get along with all my co-stars.
