yeah i understand that...me too dont hate him..that was me just exaggerating...but i really dont like seeing him on screen...i get it when u say he is torn by the situations...but the introduction scene and the birthday party scene made me really annoyed at him...u can see ruhi has a sense of right and wrong...even shavan do...but adi lacks it...he cant see anything beyond his mother...he loves his mother but i dont know why he hates his father...he precisely know his mother left his father not the other way...still he find reason to hate his father...just because he need luxury...he is 12 yr old not really small as ruhi...
plus u saying torn between the situation is not so strong reason...his mother loves him...she shows it and she cares for him...and ashok as a father even though he faked it showed love...yes he was at boarding...there is a lot of kids staying like that, doesn't mean that they behave like this...
ruhi was bit lucky that she got her grand parents and all around her...but a mother is something u cant replace...and a father who doesn't care about her is worse...
But he really doesn't deserve this...picking his mother from bar...and running behind her at the night... seeing her crying and sitting on garbage..i did really feel sad for him...
