Kya matlab?? Shagun asks confused, but before she can get her answer, Suraj enters the living room. She can sense him from across the room. Suraj walks in and stands really close to her and makes his drink.
Hello, Bhai? Kya batein ho rahi hai love birds ke beech? He smirks and glances at her. And right then, she watches him with anger and she glowers, "you know what Ashok, you want a paternity test, tumhe mil jaayegi" and she stomps out.
Suraj swallows his peg and bangs the glass on the table. Ashok watches her leave and turns to his brother,
"Bro, Aapne kaha paternity test maang ne Maine maang liya, but you know what, main Shagun ko jaanta hun, woh mere saath bewafaii nahi karegi, she wants this to work, woh itna bada risk nahi legi, pata nahi aap kyun"
Suraj interrupts him and replies, " main Sirf soch Raha thaa ki hum kuch vaqt ke liye, until then we can buy some time, tum vakil se kehke jaydaat ke kaagaz laaye ho, right?"
Haan, let me get them. Ashok begins to read the papers that were given to him earlier. He reads and he is shocked. "What is this Bhai??? Aapne apni saari shares mere naam kyun kar di?? I mean sab kuch!! Kyu?"
"Arrey kyun nahi??" Suraj says smiling, and patting his brother's cheek. " mera Bhai baap banne wala hai, Yehi samaj le ki aane wale bachey ki security hai yeh"
"Bhai, are you sure?" Ashok wonders. "Of course!", Suraj replies. "Achaa I need to get going, mujhe ek zaruri meeting pe jaana hai"
Suraj spends the whole day at his desk, playing with the paper weight and moving in his roller chair. He wonders when should he make his next move, before he knows it, it is evening. And he is just about to leave when his phone rings. The caller Id shows Ashok.
"Haan bolo Ashok, kya baat hai?"
"Bhai, shagun just sent me the paternity test, I am the father, abb kya kare???"
Suraj smiles his wicked smile, shakes his head, mutters to himself , " shagun you are so predictable" and says loudly, "don't worry, tu aaj Mumbai jaane wala tha na, don't worry hum tumhare aane ke baad baat karenge"
By the time Suraj returns home, he knows Ashok has left and he knows Shagun will be in her room. She has just finished having her bath and comes out, sits in front of the mirror, applying moisturizer to her legs clad in a satin gown. Her door opens and Suraj enters, he shuts it and locks it, shagun watches him through the mirror and smirks back at him,
"Aao, tumhara hi intezaar kar rahi thi, mujhe pata tha, paternity test results sunne ke baad, tum mere paas zarur aaoge"
