Well, obviously viewers didn't digest OTT Mani-Ishita friendship. There was strong rumor on the internet that Ishita might marry Mani after separation. Then CVs got the reality check. The damage was so severe that CVs and Balaji PH had to make a statement in an article that Mani-Ishita marriage was out of the question. I think there was more to it but fire in the set made them change the script. And, the bashing Mani got from Ishita was to appease viewers and revive her character as a wife.

I miss Raman's taunting though, I think It was playful banter and Ishita used to gave him back too. It was never a one way traffic. He needed to curb it down a bit but not completely renounce it. Now Ishra interaction has become boring. More importantly, it's given Ishita free pass to dictate terms.

only 2-3 times I could accept offensive was "kachra" n "tumhari awaz chubhti he" and one more I forgot now
and for this things, this much long punishment and shani torture of 2 months were uncalled for IMO

Yes..kachra and tumhari awaz chubti hai stuffs were said just before Mani's introduction and during the first part of Mani track to show how rude Raman was. Before that Raman taunted and Ishita equally gave him back.Like Raman said pagal madrasan, Ishita said janwaar and both were okay with that.

we AM gang wanted Ishita ja jalan & healing but the way things are moving, it seems we have more pooja days ahead instead of any sort of healing for Ishita, drama pe drama, drama pe drama chal raha hai for the sake of TRP's 🥱
