YHM forum is one of the most healthy and active forum presently.
We have been maintaining our position as number one forum for so long and there are no tough competors for us either.

But it is not the reason for me to pop in.
Being one of the most active forum we are also facing problems because of constant spams and spam makers.

We can notice that there are many posts with title as promo and with a link in it but when we open the link we can see it is nothing either it would be some precap or fake websites. We can see them but technically that is not a promo.Same thing is happening regarding episode links and segment links.

Here I want to share few indiacation by which we can identify such fake posts.
One of the most important thing that is common in all those spams is.
Most of the people are newbies or groupbies.
But forum rules indiacate newbies can't post links. So we can notice that if the post have newbies with link you can consider it as fake and spam.
But I have no intention in telling newbies are spammers. But we know our forum well and we can recogonize our friends among them.
Then one more thing you have to notice is.
Their usernames they are not proper names. They are alpha numeric letters set randomly. There wont be any meaning or order in it.

ionlomrsw, dh778, tyu56.these are few constant spammers.

Now few more points.
The links they post always follow similar pattern.
there is other type where it just shows 'CLICK HERE' .

Then one more thing which confuses us is comments there.
Which will never give any info but say common words like 'TFS,SUPER LINK,HIGH SPEED,'

these are words we mostly use for new links but there is always someone who mentions what is there in link.If there is no sentence fore first three to four updates you can understand the link is fake.

Then don't trust any episode links posted in the topic corner.
All written and video updates are provided by a team assigned for it.Those links wont pop in discussion corner.

Then just for info.Whenever there is a new promo or segment,we will first get written update from members of forum then after a gap of hour or couple we will get links.
These links are mostly provided by seniors of this forum and we dont need any introduction for their names.

UPDATED INFO.

SPAMMERS HAVE CHANGED THEIR METHOD.
AS I MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY THEIR NAMES WILL NOT HAVE RELATION WITH REGULAR FORUM NAMES.
NOW THEY ARE USING REGULAR NAMES .
AND CAME WITH NEW STYLE OF POSTS.

New Updates

NEVER trust this type of posts.

these posts will lead you through diversion servers and which bery few time will lead to a website and that too the info would be known previously .

As I mentioned previously all segemts air around 12PM to 3 pm.

This info would be updated in our forum around 12 to 4PM.

and written update comes first then video link.
there are very few people who directly give link.
EX:Meena bala.
she regularly provide daily motion links.

then EkPAHELI,RAMONAG,COLTPIXY,BADTAMEZ DIL are regular and main update providers.

cant exactly.
because we dont exactly know how many people they are whther single person operating multiple accounts or many people working together.
If we complain to Mod's they will give warning initially for each account and then suspend their account for a week. But they can continue with their other accounts or after suspension.
Their main goal is gaining visists for their website which will inturn help them get money .through advertisement on their website .You can see most of the page would be filled with adds.
So their gain is our visit. So if we stop visiting their site. That will reduce their visits and indirectly spoils their purpose.

Sakiv spammers are not limited to those who just post these false links but also those who use redirect sites to view a regular blog post. For using a redirect link there are free services such as bit.ly which throws no ad for redirection unlike these paid sites which forces user to wait for 5 or 10 secs while ads popup non-stop.

Its a complicated question, the answer is Yes & No.

In simple Layman terms, if for example a blog - hi123.blogspot.com is a repeat offender, admin(s) can censor the site link, which means the link will be a dead one. This power is restricted to administrator alone & mods can't do anything about it.

While other way to get around is, catch the ip addresses of the users who are spamming. Most probably all these users hover around a similar ip address, so banning their ip address from the site, will limit the mess as well, its not a fool proof solution but it will make an impact.

Mods & Admins can immediately remove posting permission for the particular user when they find them spamming, it will limit the mess too.

i agree.but they atleast lead to some link few times.
But thses guys will lead to no where.
But we can recogonize them as they post embradded links so no one can reconize them and we have our very famous updater for such posts,
