Being One
Raman & Ishita had consummated their marriage the previous day and they were sleeping peacefully in each other's arms, cuddling together in a sound sleep. That's when their bedroom door knocked... by the way of knocking Raman came to know that it was ruhi.
He opened the door to find ruhi standing outside who was a bit scared as dogs outside were barking loud. He knew ruhi was getting scared. So smilingly he picked up ruhi and told her that u sleep with mamma n papa. Ruhi immediately forgot her worries and soon they reached the bad. Ishita was in a deep slumber so she was not aware that ruhi entered their room. Ravan now was in a fix as he wanted both his angels to be together and also he didn't want anyone to sleep far from him. That wen he came up with an idea and he laid down next to ishita on bed with ruhi laying on top of him with her chest on Raman and her legs on ishita. Ishita by the touch of ruhi came to know that it was ruhi who was sleeping with them. With that she took ruhi in her embrace and Raman protectively had both his hands on his life (His wife and his princess). All three together cuddled in slept as if there was no tomorrow with no worries, no tension, no pain.. Just the small family together in happiness and helplessness. Next day was a Sunday and a Sunday morning would always be a feast day as all the bhalla's and iyer's get together for lunch at the bhalla residence. (I am assuming that mihir and mihika are married, rovi got married to sarika and simmi and mani are engaged.) It was a perfect morning when toshiji woke up and was surprised at why was ishita not awake. Ishita and Raman were the regular early morning wakers when they both used to wake up first have their tea/ coffee and sweet conversations alone. A ppl in the house would wake to see both of them chatting in the morning. It became a routine for everyone.
Toshiji was thinking as to why are they both not awake. Slowly everyone woke up but were surprised to not see ishita and raman. Toshiji wanted to check on them if they are fine that's when Mr. Bhalla said that they must be tired and hence were sleeping. He instructed no one to disturb them. Toshiji soon began to instruct neelu on what is to be made for lunch. In absence of ishita, Kitchen was handled by sarika and simmi. Soon the iyers, mi-mi and Bala-vandu came for lunch. Everyone was enquiring about ishita that's when Mrs. Iyer said that its 12 noon and ishita is still sleeping and was heading towards their room to wake ishita up. As acc to her ishita being the bahu shud not neglect her duties. Toshiji ran behind her to stop her. Mrs. Iyer and toshiji were fighting for ishita one for ishita and other against ishita. Everyone in the drawing room settled in their groups to their discussion. Mr. Iyer and Mr. Bhalla were discussing about politics. Bala, mhir and romi were discussing about cricket and business. The ladies headed to kitchen laughing, cracking jokes, discussing about their husbands bad habits. Mrs. Iyer reached outside ishra room that's when she was about to knock and the door flanked open. It was because Raman while picking up ruhi and carrying her to bed had left the door half open. Toshiji and Mrs. Iyer were surprised and happy as to how they 3 were hugging tightly, sleeping peacefully in each other's arms. They thought not to disturb the couple and headed back to the kitchen smiling, blushing. Ladies in the kitchen got suspicious about their behavior and enquired. That's when they came to know about Mishra not waking up early as they were awake last night due to reasons quite personal. News spread like fire in the house. Everyone was happy. But the young couple thought of pulling their leg and enjoying themselves.
Together they made a plan to catch them red handed so mi-mi, ba-va, ro-ka and simmi went to get a glimpse of their oh so romantic couple. They from the door itself admired the couple and clicked their pictures. Soon all went back to the drawing room. Ishra woke up together due to the hustle and bustle in their home. They were completely oblivious of the happenings at home and today being a Sunday. Soon they hand in hand being romantic after the previous night were walking down the stair case.
