Epic late when it comes to replying to comments .. Well I am so late in replying that all I can say is this boy needs some serious counseling not for psychological issues but the way he has been influenced by Shagun n others over the last 6 years. Liking him is not in the cards. We should see how he shapes.
Wanted to show something on his change in thoughts and did not want to jump like where he attempting but his thoughts are something which I wanted to dwell in to. Personally I liked it n hope it conveyed the same to all 😃.

She was sitting on the sofa in the living room staring aimlessly at the table in front of her. All she could hear was his words regarding surrogacy. I thought he accepted me with my flaw but why does he want one? Is my love not enough for him? I thought he had his son back which was more like getting something precious, was that less that he wanted a another kid ? I had even come in terms with the fact that Adi might not love me like Ruhi but someday or the other he will accept me and then we can live as one happy family. We two and ours two. He did not even bother to look in to my medical issue once but rather jump directly to surrogacy. Tears kept flowing from her eyes but she never wiped them.

Inside the room, he was waiting for her on the bed to sleep. Where was she? Did I really offend her? I thought this was something she wanted? He was waiting for her patiently and heard ruffling noise outside the door. He thought it could be her and rushed to the door only to find Adi walking down with a water bottle. He stopped him immediately and offered water from his room and made his way down the stairs with the same excuse. He saw the time and it was 15 minutes close to midnight. He saw her lying down on the sofa with her knees folded up and her right hand covering her eyes. He walked near her and was sure she was asleep and also noticed the tear stained face. Had it been another day he could have predicted even if someone had hurt her, but today it was him. He never knew it was his talk which pushed her to this extreme. He rubbished any such thoughts that came to his mind and felt she required her time and space to take a huge decision. He was sure she wanted a kid. He also wanted to sleep through the night before taking the next step with her and deal with her. He also knew she was not an easy nut to crack and mentally thanked the heaven above to give him this space just with the four of them.

He woke up to sharp sun rays falling on his face and was sure of waking up late. The first thing he wanted to see today was her. After getting ready fast he rushed down all decked in his white shirt and pink suit hoping to find a cheerful wife. Yes, she found her cheerful around Ruhi and with Adi being a little careful after all their relation was just limited to smiles and one word replies. But the spark which was a part of her was missing. He could not get touchy with her after being surrounded with kids. Breakfast was an unusually silent affair which was the first time since Adi started living with them. Ruhi was the only keen person to pick on all these but she was busy in her own world to get in to the reason. She requested him over sweetly to drop kids and drove down to the clinic leaving a bewildered Raman behind. The ever obedient husband followed her orders and did not want to mess with her anymore. Ruhi rushed out of the car leaving a Raman who was busy with his phone and a hesitant Adi. The boy felt these are the only small ways he can make up to his father and started carefully "Dad, are you alright?" He was brought out from his reverie and spoke "Haan, I am fine". Raman ruffled his hair and asked him to get down before he could get late. Rest of the day went in a jiffy with Raman trying to decipher his wife and Ishitha wondering about his sudden decision for a child. She did not want to talk with him about it anytime soon and behaving with him normally was totally out of the question. Staying back in the clinic blaming on emergencies was out of the question. She had two kids back home. Yes one did not really accept her but she wanted to exercise the duties of a mother with diligence and did not want anyone to question her about their behavior or anything related to them in the future.

She made up her mind to not dwell in to any of the questions related to surrogacy for the evening and stepped inside her house only to be welcomed by Ruhi. Her daughter hugged her tight, mouthed "I love you Ishima" and ran in to the next house. That felt good she thought and entered her room to freshen up. Not finding him inside the house early in the evening made it even easier. She quickly got herself changed and headed towards the kitchen. She took a deep breath and started preparing the Dough for a good Pizza. Yes, she was preparing Pizza for Adi and the way he likes it. She laughed at herself thinking Women learn to cook well after marriage to earn a place in their husband's heart but here she was cooking with all her heart just wishing Adi to like the Pizza she has cooked for him. Brownie Points she spoke out. That's when he stepped in to find her going hard on the Pizza dough and thought to himself "She is upset, working way too much in the kitchen. Chal, Kuch karle beta". It was close to dinner time when Raman came calling the kids and also announced a nice entertaining dinner in front of the TV having fun. Ruhi was the first speak "Par papa, Ishima says watching TV while having food is a Bad habit" and Raman smacked her mentally and spoke "Ishima Ki Chamchi, Let's have dinner as you wish" and winked at her hoping she would catch his hints from his tone. The whole dinner plan in front of the TV was in the idea of spending time with Ishitha but all went down the drain. It was not only Ruhi who opposed the idea but Adi took Ruhi's side or felt it's a good habit which should be obeyed and also flashed a smile towards Ishitha. He was made to feel like the only villain and thanks to his kids. He never felt so grateful to them and yes dinner was another silent affair for the couple but the kids loved it. To all their surprise Adi spoke for the very first time "Ishitha Aunty, the Pizza was really tasty" and she was the happiest of the lot. Another day she would have looked at Raman and shared whatever she wanted to through her eyes but today she walked right in to the kitchen and kept wiping the tears that were flowing freely from her eyes.

Later on after clearing the kitchen, she checked her face for the n^th time in the mirror and entered their room. The minute she entered the bedroom, he almost pounced on her and took her in a bone crushing hug. She returned his hug but the warmth which usually they shared was definitely missing. He released her from the hug, cupped her face and asked regarding the same. Kuch Nahi Raman, I am fine. She continued setting on the bed and he was continuously questioning her about her mood swing. He was sure his one liners will not go down well with her and continued his talks beating about the bush. That's when she shouted at him "If you really want to talk about yesterday, I do not want to talk a word about it Raman" and she found the water jug empty. Adi heard their voice and entered asking if they were fine. Raman was really irritated with her cold behavior. He was even fine with a negative answer from her regarding another child but did not like her turning cold and it was Adi who had to experience his wrath "Remain in your limits Adi, this is between your parents and you have no rights to interfere. I mean it" and Adi turned to return back to his room when he was stopped by Ishitha and she spoke to Raman as calm as possible "You possibly cannot shout at him for no reason of his and he is also my son just like Ruhi, better watch your words Raman in front of kids". She walked out of the room and stood in front of Adi, placed a hand on his cheeks and mouthed a sorry on behalf of his father and left him to deal with his father knowing her husband will not leave Adi go without being pacified. Adi's eyes were full by then. He knew they had fought and also noticed since morning how his father was longing for Ishitha and looked at the lady who stood like a shield before him and his father. Yes he was taking it real slow with her but the pace was letting him see his past and future side by side. Today was another day which mirrored his horrible past against a flowery future which awaits him. It was always his Biological mom who always vented her anger on him whenever she had a fight with his boyfriend then and husband now. He felt ashamed of himself for addressing that swine of a man as his father and wiped his tears only to step in to the room heeding to his father sign.

His father hugged him tightly and kept apologizing till his voice faded away. The boy mentally thanked god for giving him back his family this early who loved him truly. He moved away from his father, wiped his tears and smiled at him. Raman again mouthed a word of apology.

Adi: Dad the more you apologize the more you are making me feel bad.

Raman: Nahi Adi, Ishitha was right. I should have not vented my anger on you and should have controlled myself.

Adi: He shook his head and spoke Dad in the past I have hurt you more for no reason and now you just vented your anger on me. I am glad you have accepted me with all your heart. But dad whatever you and Ruhi told me about Ishitha Aunty is so true. She is indeed a great lady. It is my foolishness or worry that is making me take one step at a time. Whatever I spoke to her today about the food was the truth. I wanted to tell you that. Good night Dad. All will go well.

Raman: So proud of you today. Your eyes did not lie today. Adi thanks for understanding her and at the same time Ishitha stepped in to the room only to hear her husband say Even if you are not able to accept her right away, I am at least glad you are not behaving rude with her. Thanks for doing this for me. Hearing the last part of the conversation alone made her feel terrible. Her eyes welled up again and she walked in to place the water jug inside the room. Her blood shot eyes made Raman understand what exactly should have happened. Before he could even make an attempt to explain to her she was gone again. Ishitha was getting unreasonable since yesterday he felt, something unusual of her. Tables have definitely turned around between Father and Son. It was Adi's turn to offer his father a word of confidence and promise.

Adi: Dad, I promise to sort this out for you. Yes it will be a bit uncomfortable for both of us, maybe I will know more about her and kissed his father's cheek. He then wished good night to his father and walked out of the room.

Sleep was long lost for Raman Kumar Bhalla and Ishitha Raman Bhalla. He was thinking about the small things which were clouding her heart and mind. He even wished she gave him that tiny space to let him speak out one more time but she was being stubborn. She on the other side was flying sky high couple of minutes back when Adi had addressed her as Aunty for the first time but all that was false. He had spoken like that to make her feel good. She felt alone for the first time. All her false assumptions started to take a toll on her making her insecurities worse. Adi saw her sobbing and he was wondering on how he would speak to her and what exactly he would talk to her. Yes his father and stepmother loved each other a lot. He did not want to address her as step mother for the very first time. But felt bad for them. Somewhere he could not help but blame himself and wanted to sort this out for his father. He also understood that if their future was to feel beautiful they will need her and it was in his hands. With a determined and a hopeful heart he took a huge step forward.
