"This is what love does: It makes you want to rewrite the world. It makes you want to choose the characters, build the scenery, guide the plot. The person you love sits across from you, and you want to do everything in your power to make it possible, endlessly possible. And when it's just the two of you, alone in a room, you can pretend that this is how it is, this is how it will be."
David Levithan
"Then I realize what it is. It's him. Something about him makes me feel like I am about to fall. Or turn to liquid. Or burst into flames."
Veronica Roth

The collage...I'm running out of ways to tell you how amazing you are at this.
Middle left...yea. You know.☺️
The lines from When Harry Met Sally could not be more apt. The movie was on just the day before yesterday...I have lost count of how many times I've seen it.

Two things straight away:
1) 'Happy' Bhalla is back! The new and improved version, of course! 😳
2) I love the fact that Ishita is being bold and expressive
He just wanted a few uninterrupted moments with his wife...
More importantly, they both were eager to finish what they'd started at Shagun's sangeet...

Love is such a peculiar thing, is it not? Especially when you know that your love is reciprocated...it gives a person wings, really.
But for these two...who've been let down by love before, I can't begin to fathom what it must feel like for them to finally have their love requited. To know that despite all odds, and years of heartache, you're finally getting a chance at the love you thought your fate could never afford you...that this time, the object of your affection not only finds you worthy, but indispensable.
They've come such a long way from loathing one another, to being parents, then friends, and now two souls so deeply, irrevocably in love. Neither expected this - to find love here...in each other. She had resigned herself to a loveless marriage, and he had guarded his heart in a steel cage. But as they say, a love that's meant to be will always find a way.

The new found love, is thrilling. Hence the urgency. They've been deprived for so long, they cannot fathom going a moment longer without. They do not have the strength to deny themselves now...after all these years.
However, despite the desire to profess their love, to hear the words, they're not in business of depriving themselves of these sweet moments of togetherness...of teasing, flirting, courtship...where the words, though unsaid, do not go unheard.
As they grow in their love, we see them transform to who they once were. Her confidence restored, his fear of expression of emotion vanishing.

There was a time when she boasted that she doesn't lie...today, she was his accomplice.
There was a time when he could barely stand the sight of her, let alone her company...today, he was desperate for it.
He wanted to tell her she's beautiful...She wanted to hear it.

Their eyes had a conversation of their own, their hearts beating in sync, dancing to the same tune...
And yet, their words, a give and take, disguised and confessed it all, simultaneously.

This phase of a relationship is perhaps the best...when these little stolen moments become the most beautiful memories...
Memories...he told her once that they'd embark on a journey and make new memories...their own memories...
At last, they're doing just that...their journey, has begun.

DT is beautiful as Ishita in love. Her reaction in front of the mirror after he he left her, his words hanging in the air, was pure perfection. Ishita's uncertainty, hesitation, excitement is palpable.
KP is a master of his craft. Words can do no justice. I won't try.
As for RKB...those eyes and that smile are everything. That second quote above...it's more for me than Ishita. ☺️

Still crooning to this:
Abhi na jaao chod kar, ke dil abhi bhara nahi
Abhi abhi toh aaye ho, bahaar banke chaaye ho
Hawa zara mahek toh leh, nazar zara bahek toh leh
Yeh shaam dhal toh leh zarah,
Yeh dil sambhal toh leh zarah
Main thodi der jee toh loon, nashe ke ghoont pee toh loon
Abhi toh kuch kaha nahi, Abhi toh kuch suna nahi
Abhi na jaao chod kar, ke dil abhi bhara nahi...
Sitaare jhil mila uthe, chiraag jag-maga uthe,
Bas ab na mujhko tokna, na bharke raah rokna
Agar main ruk gayi abhi, toh jaa na paaoungi kabhi,
Yehi kahoge tum sada, ke dil abhi bhara nahi,
Jo khatm ho kisi jaga, yeh aisa silsila nahi...
Abhi na jaao chod kar, ke dil abhi bhara nahi...
