Their marriage had started as a deal to keep Ruhi safe and he had forgotten to get the ring on their engagement day...he instead gave her a plastic handmade ring...A ring that Ruhi made for her Papa... She was moved to tears of happiness because to her the ring defined their relationship status perfectly...a marriage which was Sirf Ruhi Ke Liye.
He was a guy who had scorned marriage, love or anything related to it. His marriage was nothing but just a contract to ensure the custody of his daughter who was in love with this woman.
That was then...
Today he gave her another ring...a ring that came with a promise of a different kind...one about them as a couple, not just as Ruhi's parents anymore but one that talks about their journey together, forever. He let her know of the expectation...and asked for her permission to proceed...once she ceded...he 'sealed the deal'...with their silent vows ...this time to each other...for themselves.
The marriage vows which they took as Ruhi's parents...now added a new dimension : vows of love ...of him...of her ...of them as Ishita and Raman Bhalla.
