Ishita was caught between Raman's demands, Mihika's frustrations with her would-be SIL, Shagun's pleas and her own discomfort at wearing a strapless dress.

In the end, she chose to do what she felt would pacify all the parties involved.. except Raman. She knew Raman would be angry, and she could have worn another dress for his sake. But she went ahead and wore a saree for the party despite the fact that he had strictly warned her not to. Guess she felt that she needed to prove a point to him. Shagun already had used Ishita's samaj sevi mode during Sanjana track...if that has not opened her eyes..when will it? Shagun tried to use 'baccho ki maa" blackmail thing with Raman...but failed...and then she got what she wanted through nagging Mihika...

Shagun is really something. She finally got the dress she wanted, but instead of being grateful, she was plain spiteful towards Ishita. As you said, she does need to be selfish, even shrewd, at least towards people like Shagun, if she wants to keep her family safe. agree 100%

And we finally got to see some insecurity from Ishita's side as well. She just high-jumped to the conclusion that Raman spent all that money on Shagun. Could we dare to hope for a confrontation about a Raman-Shagun equation versus Ishita-Mani equation between these two? 😳 yes please any confrontation dealing with their feelings..

Do CV's think that just coz they have a bout of selective amnesia, its actually a global epidemic?? it surely has hit the YHM world...This is my realization.😆Each episode is better enjoyed if you treat them as stand alone episode with no connection to the what has aired since dec 2013.I don't know what's to blame but since the introduction of Mani track...things have started taking OTT hue with anything and everything catering to creating a situation of drama ...It's baffling because the same team had been doing a pretty great job sans occasional slips, story wise. Did we just see the woman who wore ... hmmm lemme see 4 gowns (2 of which were knee length) at last count actually contemplating and hesitating over a western dress. Wow 👏. This scene actually took the cake for me. Even more than the tantrum that Mihika threw in front of her sister.

I could understand if Ishita had a problem with off-shoulder but they actually showed her hesitating over the fact that its a western dress. This pissed me to no ends coz it dashed all my hopes for any good romantic scene at this godawful slot 😡. Am upset. Bas. that upset me too...I'm like why this sudden allergy😕

Coming to Mihika ...did you see the way she stamped her foot, dissed Shagun and managed to manipulate Ishita (who is afflicted with Mahaanta+stupidity) in giving away her husband's gift. You know what, I don't even blame Shagun. Its not her fault that one sister is putty in her hands and another just plain idiotic. I refuse to put this on Shagun today. Well Shagun was in character...she knows how to manipulate...and Mihika and Ishita knows that about her too...but still if they decided to cater to Shagun with utter indifference to Raman's wishes...the fault lies on the sisters' heads more than Shagun this time.

I just want to know one thing - will Mihika worry equally about Mihir & his heartbreak for life when she marries someone else (there's absolutely no way Ass-Oak is marrying Shagun, so we know who its gonna be) ??? when Assoak was ogling Mihika openly today...I as a woman was cringing🤢 If Raman Ishita used Ruhi ke liye clause for marriage , Mihika is doing everything for Shagun using Mihir ke liye clause...including jeopardizing her own marriage to him

I actually could not fault Raman today ... it was a cocktail party for Crissakes and all he wanted was his Biwi to look good in something he had chosen for her lovingly. Admittedly Ishita looked awesome in her saree but the fact that she chose to disregard a request that he made as a husband to his wife, it was all just irritating. Yep what bugged me is she totally disregarded his gesture...which usually she'd been shown to be very sensitive about (her wearing the fugly blue and pink neckalce after she came to know he designed it for her)...and on top of that gifted it to his ex...and then came with flowers on her hair which he had said he hated...why not give him something he wanted to see her in. For me it didn't matter whether she looked gorgeous or not...what mattered was kinda indifference to Raman's feelings.

Sorry for the long rant ... the whole episode kinda upset me at many levels 😳 Hey not an issue here...I've been ranting since last week over lot of stuff and have written Dear CVs to Dear DT's stylist posts to vent 🤣

Totally agree! She needn't have given in to Shagun's emotional blackmails. But then, that's how Ishita has ALWAYS been.. foolishly and unrealistically generous. That's the reason why Toshiji has given guard duty to Simmi..😆

Basically, there's no hope for Ishita. Her inherent need to be a samaj-sevika will be her undoing, if she's not careful. Its just a dress today, but Shagun is an expert manipulator and is capable of so much more😕 And who more than Ishita knows that...but still she gave the dress..what do we call that?😕
