This is a bit random, but I just saw a few Ishra scenes from the past cause I was free and wanted to reminisce the beauty that YHM means and MANN... THE ENTIRE GOOD SPIRIT OF YHM CAME ALIVE, I swear. I'm literally in the super touched zone right now and there's no better place to celebrate YHM than this forum, where you guys have a similar bond to the show too, so you'll understand.
Like watching these scenes just explains why we have this unique connection and addiction to YHM that is not shared by any other show. Ishita and Raman honestly just touch a different chord in the heart, with their bond and it's beautiful to watch them. The essence of it all lies in how the romantic scenes are subtle and not the typical and usual concepts that are recycled in each show. You can literally smell the newness and beauty of this new sort of concept and very different love story. I usually hate watching things on repeat, but not Ishra scenes. Be it their dances, their hug, the kiss or my favourite... their intense conversations in times of distress- I can watch each scene countless times and each time, I'm forced to appreciate the good acting..
I honestly started thinking that we all might just be going on about the amazing acting because we've developed this love for the show, KP and DT so we've become biased. BUT NO MAN... they're actually damn good ! The chemistry, the touch with reality in the characters, the expressions, the emotions - everything is bang on ! It's so beautiful watching these scenes where a form of art is being done such phenomenal justice to. Like it's one of those moments when you're so touched by a good theatre play or painting or book, but you have no words to express it correctly. Only those who experience it with you will know.
And also... it's only fair that we appreciae and give due credit to the writers and CVs man. I mean, save the emotional roller coaster and sort of mini earthquake that left YHM scenesna bit disconnected in the last 2 weeks, the CVs have genuinely done a phenomenal job to date man. I mean, it's because of the way they create these scenes that the newness and essence comes out. They give KP and DT a chance to portray serial stories in a new light and I think YHM is one of the very few shows that have a combination of everything that's just right ! The story, CVs, lead pair, ensemble cast- EVERYTHING.
Also, I have a confession to make at this point. Sorry I'm rambling now, but I've been wanting to say this since really long. I've been an avid watcher of India serials okay.. since forever. Being a Pakistani, I obviously do watch our own serials too, but I've always loved Indian serials and found them really entertaining. However, the general trend in Pakistan was that most people would watch Indian shows, but never admit it publicly okay... because of how silly it seemed. Going by the stereotype, indian shows only meant the 'dishoom dishoom - pan camera thrice' sort of scenes with women wearing thick eye liners and large bindis. It is with immense pride that I say, with YHM, this factor has gone away. It's such a different and real type of show that I myself, not only admit to being a fan, but recommend it to my friends too. My respect and love for Indian television has multiplied an insane number of times and I'm proud to be a fan of YHM and to have had the opportunity to experience such a BEAUTIFUL story, such a unique journey and such wonderful acting.
P.S : This post is only written in good spirit and means no offense to any group of people. The purpose is to celebrate the essence of YHM and I only mean to write my true feelings and convey the immense love and respect that's developed in the new generation especially and that has been enhanced because of art that transcends borders. I apologise if I've hurt anyone. This is just an opinion and feelings based post.
