"O, beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-ey'd monster, which doth mock
The meat it feeds on."
~William Shakespeare, Othello

They stood at the threshold of their new home, his eyes only on her...hers on everything but him. He only wanted her to himself 100% and she couldn't forget her public humiliation.
Her bracelet, her words to him, her words to Mani that he overheard all mocking him, eating away at his heart ..making him want to throw everything away...break away from this feeling of helplessness..of not being worthy enough for her love. He tried to drown his sorrows, the only way he knew, in alcohol.
Then he saw her entering their room...and he tried to get some reaction from her. But all he got was her disdain.
The weight of realization that he's still bound by his past, had drained her of her spirit to retort. Her silence, he read as indifference to him, his love.
Every action of hers, her unusual silence to his barbs made him think that's her apathy towards him, as she didn't care...His possessiveness, his jealousy took over his despair...it pushed him over the edge... he tried to claim her...any way he could.
As the only thing he wanted from her was her, only his...
All she wanted was his care, his love...but the only thing she thought he offered was not love, but possession.
Their misunderstanding of each other's actions ..the pain inflicted by them ...left them defeated..
A perfect song for both Raman and Ishita today (Thanks for Sia for posting it)
Phir Tere Ishq Ne Hi Is Dil Ko Tabah Kiya
Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se Aah Nikalti Rahi, Mujhko Saza Di Pyaar Ki,
Aisa Kya Gunah Kiya,
Toh Lut Gaye, Haan Lut Gaye, Toh Lut Gaye Hum Teri Mohabbat Mein...
Note:
- was upset with a section of the script. Creatives Liberties also should be bound within the decency of the marital respect. No situation..NONE ...deserves a woman to be threatened physically...even by her husband.
(have not proofread...please ignore typos and grammar owwies 😳)
