If the storm was so catastrophic y didn't it harm him???

This is a million dollar question... I swear...

The whole thing starts from this topic the storm that came...

First figure out who's d storm...😛

Lovely post DD! Finally got back to your topic! I didn't want to rush through this because it needed proper time. I agree with all 8/9 scenarios you pointed out in which Mani is portrayed as a good friend. If he really was a storm in Ishra's life then their 'marriage' would have been over a long time ago for several reasons:
1) Their marriage to begin with isn't strong, there is no communication between them as as couple
2) They stand with each other in distress but often find themselves with their back towards each other (scenario # 3 like you said)
3) They aren't honest about their feelings to themselves so how will they be honest with each other

When a marriage is rocky it's credulous to blame a 3rd party because a strong marriage has no room for a third person. To answer your question, the storm is Ishita-Raman's relationship.

Mani even though poorly characterized and sprung on the audience as a surprise is still a blessing in disguise for our beloved couple. He has been a catapult for this relationship forcing Ishita and Raman to come out of complacency in their relationship.

I just wish Mani and Ishita's friendship was characterized better.
Brilliant analysis 😊

The storm wouldn't come if Raman had not thought that the way he was ditched by shagun will happen twice to him n that too by Ishita . A lady who loved n supported both his daughter n family in both the good n bad times how could he expect that she will throw him out of her life n get settled with some other. It's jz a possibility of what Raman thought that Ishita will ditch but now when Ishita confronts with this truth I think she will burst out in tears cuz the person whom she loves a lot if doubts him then surely she is going to leave him but the fact is that there will be confessing of there love for each other n all this re-uniting of IshRa will be done by Ruhi directly or indirectly !!!
The other fact is that this storm would not have come if Ishita have told everything about the crucial plans of Ashok . Ishita planned to surprise Raman but she did not expect that this surprise is going to leave her in a shock cuz some surprises always leaves unhappy for us .
Coming to Mani he jz helped his best friend n never thought of clashes n misunderstandings would arise in between IshRa . He thought to figure out the problems but surprisingly he became the problem!!!

Now we come here. On this thread.
Bata rahi hoon DD.. dono saath mein ban honge.

Ok.. here exactly the STORM is Raman's past and his insecurity about himself that he cannot look beyond th viel of infidelity. He could have thought them to be joking when Ishu said ILU but he didnt. But because he saw Mani's name changed to manisha.. his doubts are somewhat genuine. Ishu did this because she knows that Raman doesn't like Mani.
But does Raman know the reason ? no.

Now..Comes mani.
He is being ishita's anchor right now which raman was few days ago. Now Will storm brew ?? yes
Will Raman react ? yes
Is Mani the reason directly ? No
but is Mani the reasom indirectly ? yes .
