He was smitten by one look at his wife, a vision in red ..sitting in front of the dresser engrossed in saaj-shringar for Karwa Chauth, a ritual of celebration of a wife's love for her husband. She caught him staring at her, he tried to buy his way out by his usual banter: sarcasm...when she was at the threshold of their bedroom on her way out, he said, oh so causally, that she was looking nice. What remained unsaid was etched on his face: a shy smile, a wink and mesmerized eyes...a happy, content...in love Raman Bhalla.

Blushing Ishita

She had seen his caring side...forbidding her to fast for him because of her health. She blushed at his unabashed compliment...she lovingly touched where the mehndi cocooned their initials together in her palm...he had forced her to eat pakoras with haq...then her cousin told her the secret that her hubby was holding close to his heart...he was fasting for her...him for their first KC as a couple...she wondered wasn't that what hubbies in love do...She felt something...and it made her blush..she basked in the warmth of his love...

A beautiful episode of love and warmth...Of a beautiful couple who were glowing from the feeling of being in love and being loved.

Note:
DT was looking absolutely breathtaking in red...and KP looked handsome in white and purple...and both were on dot in their expressions as a couple feeling the 1st flush of love...an episode of palpable feelings.

I was so fuddled ..couldn't decide ...so just made his and hers collages...the most hard time I had to make one as I couldnt choose ...so if the collages are not up to expectation ...blame it on my zonked condition 😳

Raman being touted as sensitive by Mihir n Bala calling him as a good Husband. Mihir saying Bala dont overestimate urself, Raman is the best husband. 😳

Mihika n Vandu making Ishita realize that Ravan kumar pighal gaya, n usko pighalta dekh ke Ishu pighal gayi 😆

Today saw my old YHM back, storyline dialogues acting, execution etc all in sync. 👏

One of your most beautiful photo essays of all time is this one. Karan Patel is easily the most handsome face on Indian Television. In your photo essay above Divyanka gives him great run for his money. She looks absolutely gorgeous. After her Varalakshmi appearance, this one is a close second for me, I can even say they are tied at number one... She has not looked more beautiful. EVER...

Likeiwse, his most appealing Desi look to me is in that white chikan(?) kurta in the first week of the show. KC nite outfit was a close second. He looks extremely sexy in the whole corporate look. All hios expressions as usual are real and "in love". There is nobody that flirts like him, atleast in my 15 years of watching Desi soaps havent seen any. I dont care about Hollywood😆

I am not a big fan of TALK Gandhari,...Its been romanticized IMO wayyy way too much by movies and books. Sounds and Looks good only in those

Most real life couples/marriages Ive encountered, the most appealing, attractive couples are NOT the ones that talk three hours nightly😉 The marriages where I see the MOST/BEST mutual understanding between hubby and wife make the MOST boring couples unfortunately🤢

I dont really care for hour long deep meta physical conversations between the ISHRA. Nope! In MY mind's eyes, I see them as this fiesty impulsive, passionate, argumentative couple.

I DONT see them as 40 or 80 year olds. TOO MUCH TALKING IMO spoils the drama and chemistry. Strictly MO again... I like how they float from incident to incident, I am not looking for "lessons in a good marriage"

"Complete understanding between Husband & Wife 101"

"How to build a happy marriage"

"How to have a harmonious relationship with your spouse"

The community college in the city I live in has all the above lessons😆 DONT care for it, wont go it😉. I watch ISHRA for the latent incompatibility, that spark, that underlying sense of "I cant believe I even live with you" they both go through almost every day. ITS A REAL MARRIAGE. The day Raman starts nodding his head and complimenting her for everything and the day she becomes a doormat will the last day "I" watch the show. "I" look for friction in couples.ESPECIALLY in love stories (well... I ONLY watch love stories😆). If they were in bed all the time, or if they were on that bench all the time TALKING

I would not be able to watch. I am glad Ekta has been on my side thus far👏

40% of he magic of this show is in the ISHRA unresolved issues. The other 40% is in their drop dead gorgeous good looks 👏👏Remainder 20% in the originality of the Iyer-Bhalla combination, the parents, the siblings etc👏 NOTHING ELSE matters to ME😃

You have an immense gift and thanks to my love for YHM, I have been able to view it on this Forum. Well done...Look forward to tomorrow's as always...Sooner than later your work will find the glory it so deserves...👏👏

Ah last night' epi is definitely going in my fav episodes of YHM list, I dont do a countdown this show would make it impossible for me to have a top 10 list 😳

I loved how they had the love between two couples - IshRa and the senior Bhalla couple as the focus of the episode. How lovely it was to see that there is a young couple very much in love but hesitant, shy, scared of revealing it and yet..yet unable to hide it completely as well.

They dont say much but they cant exactly be as subtle as they think they are too - how could they be when she blushes at his merest mention, at his compliments or when she learns how he has fasted for her. He fails miserably too - he scolds her to not fast for him but what comes across in that scolding is his love and concern for her, he comes after a bath and sees her getting dressed on a day meant for them...a day when even if she cant fast for him she is looking like a bride, his bride dressed in a red attire and with nothing much adorning her and yet he cant take his eyes off of her. He tries to duck behind the tried and tested sarcasm but is unable to stop himself from complimenting her and as she blushes...because of him, he glows. He sets foot in their home and the first instinct is to know if she has taken care of herself and what does he do - he asks their daughter a through report of the same and since it has been hours and hours since he has been able to be close to her and had been unable to take her in his arms when he saw her getting dressed he does the next best thing, on the pretext of feeding her he holds her hand and almost takes her in a side-hug😳 there is no grand declaration of love from either ends but he blushes as he is teased because he fasted for her and she practically falls a little more in love with him when she learns of the same...

Love isnt in grand gestures or expensive gifts...its in moments like these...since you too are a quote freak I would just share this one here - something which I felt is apt for this epi

Tonight for a moment ... in that room .. there was no VEIL ... she glowed he smiled .. she smiled he glowed ...

Tonight ... SONALI KOTNIS aka SONA.. once again came to life ... the Pari .. the unbelievably beautiful woman ... her long hair flowing .. her round eyes smiling .. & the young man fell a bit deeper in love ... here was the manifestation of his every dream ... there stood his wife .. Ishika Bhalla aka SONA ..

Three words jump out of your write-up

Warmth, security and giving in

Aur aage nuthin to say - that security and giving in also contributed to the warmth we felt when we saw these two!

From the don't fast- lurking good- she getting teased- he feeding her pakoras- he getting teased- she becoming aware- she becoming overwhelmed..

Now I am waiting for he becoming aware and he becoming overwhelmed!!!

Red.. the color of Love, the color of Passion

When a Man is in love you can see it in his eyes
