I'll be your shadow

"If you're alone, I'll be your shadow. If you want to cry, I'll be your shoulder. If you want a hug, I'll be your pillow. If you're happy, I'll be your smile. But anytime you need a friend, I'll just be me."

We never usually value our shadows because we are always facing forward but often we find out strength and support lurking in our dark shadow. Ishita and Raman are each other's shadows, and what better way to portray this than today's episode!

We didn't get alone Ishra scenes but their support for each other was the tying theme of the entire episode. Do we need more proof that these two are madly in love with each other and are made for each other.

Today Raman said something so profound and heart touching in the subtlest manner to Sarika. Like an older brother or a father she never had, he gave her advice about her future and the delicate decisions she needs to make that will decide her future. He opened his heart and reflected on his life while advising Sarika. He proclaimed a marriage with one-sided love never lasts, like his didn't with Shagun. He loved her, they had kids, he became solely hers ignoring his family and started worshiping Shagun. None of this was enough because like he said one-sided love never sustains a marriage.

While reminiscing his failed marriage with Shagun he also mentioned something very positive in almost nonchalant way, he proclaimed to Sarika, "Ishita and I are always with you". Not just me Raman Kumar Bhalla, but my wife and I are with you. We are a team, always with each other, being a support system for each other trying to get through any and all crisis we encounter. Raman knows Ishita is his shadow and never faltering support system and he can always count on her. He mentioned something similar to Romi, You don't wanna listen to Bhabhi, and you don't like what your bhai has to say'. He didn't just talk about him but he talked about THEM! He isn't singular anymore they are a team!

Today we got a glimpse of Raman and how he would be when Ruhi grows up, delicate, soft spoken, eyes full of love, giving worldly advice at the same time reprimanding for the mistakes she might make. My heart was melting seeing him talk to Sarika like he would talk to Ruhi.

Ishita on the other hand, equally in love with her man had unwavering faith on Raman that he will handle the situation and would never do any injustice. She didn't have to talk to him, she knows he will be her shadow through all the problems. Without even saying a word to each other Raman and Ishita communicated through their eyes, the problem they face presents grave consequences but together they can weather this storm as a TEAM! Ishita while talking to Sarika says, Raman's intentions are in the right place', she knows in this struggle, it's not just her, it's THEM together! If this absolute belief that they always have each other's support isn't love then I don't what is!

Without a single Ishra scene in the episode I could feel the love oozing from Raman and Ishita, imagine what will happen if they actually came together on screen!

Yes Maniless episodes is getting the characters in their original skin. 😆 for sometime I really cudnt relate to Ishita or even Raman for that matter. 😆

I frankly speaking can relate to both Ishra's intention of solving Romika's problems. Ishita is thinking emotionally n considering Romi has married Sarika he needs to accept her, otherwise y marry in the first place. But now that Romi is not accepting Sarika so Raman tried to help her at least financially n he knows that even if they r married chances are that Romi might not still take his responsibilities.

So basically both Ishra's intentions r right- help Sarika n make Romi realize his mistakes. But their ways of going about it r different. 😳

If only these two can come together n solve the problems that wud b great, lets hope in future they do. 😊
