I am yet to watch the episode, wasn't planning to. But now I'll try with a fresh mind.
The part where Ishita goes all disapointed in the kitchen and Mani calls her, we all would react the same way after an immediate anger. So had no issues in that. She clearly wasn't in a mood to talk. The Jealousy/insecurity factor was dealt well when Raman sent a thank you message, He clearly wants to make an effort to change the views his wife has for him (which he thinks so).
You always share your happiness with the closest person to you, ain't it. So the progress of the relationship is there. As a day 1 watcher, love their gradual steps towards the next levels of their relationship. And the aftermath of the kiss, as you said is there. He IS admitting to his feelings. It's all so subtle and beautiful. But yes the strong drama is somehow making me tear my focus from them. It's all compiled with each other.
One question though, why is the otherwise planning Ashok taking all his time to move ahead with his strategies. Days ago he wanted to get rid of Shagun n win Mihika (it's all games for him right?)
Simple Ashok has a premature celebration problem .. he measures every woman from the same yard stick as Shagun ..self centred ..
Now ashok is clueless that mihika knows about his plans ... so he is living in his fools paradise .. he thinks its enuf that he is obsessed that will get the girl to him ... 😛
he is always like this right .. this guy called a party to announce his winning of custody .. but it was raman who walked away with the same ..
ashok is a lazy person ... one day will do a character analysis of this guy .. he is a fun character to write about
