YHM was in the pipeline for the longest time insite of having found Ishita n Ruhi in DT n Ruhanika. The way I see it the show was waiting for RKB to take shape in the form of KP. THats that. If anyone else played it the show would be good, bcoz it had fabulous actors on board n content too. But the YHM we know, the RKB we love, the sensation it is now n Divan would never happened. It was destined to be, written in the stars that precisely these people would be Ishraru and no one else.

It's super difficult to even imagine. NO ONE can do half as much justice to the character of Raman Bhalla, as Karan Patel does. But answering your question... from what I remember of Cezanne in Kasauti, I think he'd seem too artificial for this role. Like he wouldn't be able to live Raman as fully as Karan Patel does. KP has got the essence of all of Raman's character's layers and he builds the scenes on that. Hard to think anyone else would do it as well.

I'll be very honest and no disrespect to Cezanne Khan or his fans, but if he was chosen as Raman Bhalla, I probably would not be on this forum right not. I got hooked on the show due to Karan Patel and Divyanka's chemistry. As I was turning the channels, I saw Karan and stopped to watch it for a bit. If it wasn't Karan but was Cezanne Khan instead, I probably would've changed the channel right there and then.

Oh my gosh!!!! I can't even think any1else for the character of RKB other than our one and only loving KARAN PATEL...I know most of the people who are watching YHM is watching it bcz of KP and his brilliant chemistry with Divyanka...KP is blessed with such an enormous talent and hez so handsome & has a killing smile...espsecially I think most of KP'S fans would agree with me if I say that he is the king of emotions and SRK in telly world...love u KARAN PATEL for the hppiness u r giving us by portraying this character...no 1 could do this character better than KARAN even CK tooo...not even a half justice...Keep up your great work KP...Hope to you see in rank no 1 and bollywood soon...love you...truly I have become a die hard fan of your KARAN bcz of ur super talent...

Cezanne is definitely hotter but I don't think he'd be appropriate for the character. He's tall and Raman's not, also he's a very sweet guy. I don't think he could've pulled off Raman's anger like KP does. All in all, his replacement was for better and KP is doing a great job.
