In yesterday's epi, we got to see Mani and Raman at the doctor's office.
Raman, as Ishita's husband had every right to be there. Now why was mani here?
- Many can argue that he is Ishita's childhood friend so he had the right to be there, well i don't think so : they stopped seeing each other since college days that were... 10 years ago maybe? Also there is medical secret, someone out of the family DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT to be shared medical information with, without the express consent of the patient.
- People can also say that in the end, we -and raman- should be thankful that Mani was here because Raman didn't know the answers to any question.
But why was MANI in the office when APPA and AMMA were outside ?
Amma was a bit too emotional, i give you that, but Appa wasn't right? So as FAMILY (which mani is NOT), why didn't APPA went into the office?
- Also let's say Appa was busy with the nurse (he had to go and give them medecine) and let's also say that Ishita condition couldn't wait ONE minute and the doctor had to do the interview right away (which is stoopid because Ishita's was already in stable condition)... why wasn't BALA in the office with Raman? Bala has been 100% part of the family for more than 10 years and he is very very close to Ishu, so he must know her allergy and blood group right? Also he was there during the whole Subbu fiasco so he knows about ishu's TB/infertility.
- Mani remembering Ishita's blood group was creepy (people hardly even remember each other birthday) and about her fasting habits that was totally wrong : he hasn't been around for 10 years but he knows her daily habits? MEH, i don't buy it !
- We can also say that Doctors trust Mani because he has financed medical research in this hospital. How convenient right? He's an NRI who just came back from abroad but the guy has contacts in this precise hospital? GREAT. Is he also financing his childhood town hospital (chennai)? and the one in the city he currently lives in (abroad)? does he finance hospitals in each city he lives "just in case" he needs to put pressure on them one day?
note : this post is purely about MANI's PRESENCE in the DOCTOR office. NOTHING ELSE.
not about raman vs mani,
not about mani being too perfect,
not about the upcoming scenes seen on the on location,
this is not even about what mani SAID during the interview, because in my opinion, he shouldn't have been there in the first place.
