I don't think he ever thought that way. And honestly speaking he did know about a lot of those questions (TB, allergies, vrats, etc.). He treats her poorly in terms of words and he'll realize that his words do hurt, but he does care for her and that's been shown as well. (He gave up that very business for Ishita's happiness, helped her in her dentistry work, cared for her when her arm was broken, and helped her Amma when she was hurt.)

I'm not saying Raman is a saint, but he's not the devil either. He doesn't think of himself as mahaan he thinks he needs to protect himself. And I'm hoping this track shows him that it's okay to open his heart and show kindness.
