I'm new to this forum. Well not technically new because I've been silently observing this forum for the past few weeks, reading the upcoming spoilers and a few stories here and there. Enough said and done, I'm a quite a fan of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Although I haven't been following the show since the beginning I've still developed a bond with this show over the past two months. Yes two months only. 😆 Nonetheless, I find IshRa undeniably cute and adorable. Not to mention, Ruhi, the sweetheart of the show. Well, don't hate me for saying this I even like Shagun.
Before I go ahead I wanna take a moment to introduce myself. I'm Juju, as you've probably guessed from my username. 😳 I've been on India-Forums for quite some time now, having been an active member of the Ek Hazaroon Mein Meri Behna Hai Forum. I was also part of the BollyCurry team on IF. And I wrote a few short stories and one shots on Viren Jeevika. Yes I ship those two. I think that's about it. I look forward to knowing all of you guys too.
The episode:
Well, I just felt the show is being dragged a bit too much since they've decided to move its slot from the late night one to the 7.30 slot. Anyways the episode was more of a filler without much contribution towards the main track.
The show began with Raman distancing himself with Mani and the rest which highlighted the ongoing tension between the two 'Alpha males' as Bala very eloquently put it. Mani seems to be pretty harmless therefore it's hard to believe a person like Raman is having such strong pangs to jealously. I would definitely have preferred Raman display a more mature behavior to it. C'mon he can do better than that. In spite if this I loved how Karan played the scenes. He is a delight to watch. I've loved him since the times he essayed the role of Robbie in Kasturi.
Poor Ishita, she has to bear the daily brunt of his rantings. Even Pammi Aunty was highly unreasonable today. Who on earth brings a rishta in 30 minutes?
I wish the CVs had included a talk between Raman and Ishita rather than poor Raman venting up his anger all alone.
The scene between Mihir and Mihika broke my heart today. It's probably the last we will get before she gets married of to that jerk of a person, Ashok. They are so cute together and I think the CVs did a good job to foreshadow the drift in their relationship. Truly sad.
I hope Mani works his magic quickly. Well if not that there should be some proper talking between the two men.
All in all an okay episode.
