Raman Kumar Bhalla aka Ravan Kumar
Bhalla is one name that is making the
audience go crazy! All because of his
punchy one liners, sarcastic
commentary and his sweet and sour
squabbles with his other half, Ishita
Bhalla. We all know the conditions in
which he got married to Ishita. For him
she was only the mother of his daughter
Ruhi Bhalla, but with the time their
chemistry started to flourish and he
became more accepting of his
relationship with Ishita. His developing
feelings for Ishita are now coming to
the surface as he tries to fight for her
and wants to protect her from all
sorts of troubles.
Raman Kumar Bhalla is like a coconut,
which is hard from outside, but sweet
and soft from the inside. Many think he
is harsh and rude, but this is his way of
dealing with people in his day to day life.
He doesn't want to show his softness
to anyone or give anyone a chance to
take advantage of it. No one can see
his love behind his harsh words.
However, when he shouts at Ishita he
does so with his right. You can only get
bitter with a person that you love and
care, because you believe you have all
the right to do that. There are two
ways of portraying your love for
someone; either with sugar-coated
words or ones that are sharp and
bitter. Raman Kumar Bhalla is just like
that - a "karva karela!"
Nowadays we are seeing another side
of him. He is struggling to figure out
whether he loves Ishita or not and he is
in denial of his changing feelings, but we
all know that he is in love with Ishu.
After all, that's the reason he is
getting jealous to see another man
Mani, her childhood chum, in her life,
who is not only important for her, but is
also equally important to her family.
Accepting this is not easy for him, as
he has been through a rough patch
before with his first wife who left him
for another man. But deep down he
knows that Ishita is not like Shagun,
because she herself has got a second
chance, and was equally hurt from her
love Subu. On one side this jealousy
track in the show is a laughing riot,
whilst on other side it shows a serious
test of relationships. Raman is a
crystal clear man, who cannot hide his
feelings or his comfort level with
anyone in any condition, and that's the
reason everyone can clearly see his
jealousy through the frustration visible
on his face.
Raman Kumar Bhalla aka Ishu ka Raman
cannot go against his heart and that's
the reason we love him even more.
