Its such a great relief to see that the writers r getting their due respect for their hardwork. N really respect to Sonaliji for writing such a beatufiful story. Hope she inspires many more writers in future.

Tfs for this article.

Agree with her. Raman is my fav character too. And yeah they have not yet disappointed us. Love how they have used all the characters in both families well so far. Regarding viewers losing interest after confession, it need not happen that way. If your story continues to be refreshing and they can bring good concepts and story line viewers will always be interested. At the same time viewers need not be hooked on just because confession is delayed either. If the story and writing sucks before confession also you can lose viewers. It all comes down to how you present the story and the fres ideas they come up with. Most of the time they are doing a fairly good job at it.

Thanks for sharing! It's always interesting to hear about a show from a writer's perspective.
Raman is definitely my favorite character as well, every aspect about him has been etched brilliantly and KP does a fabulous job of bringing those emotions to screen (which is why I don't think anyone - not even Sidharth Malhotra (although I do love him) will be able to do justice to the role). As far as Ishita is concerned, I feel somewhere they have restricted her characterization to the fact that she is unable to conceive and everything revolves around it - there is so much more to Ishita that I wish they would explore.

As far as her mentioning that after a confession, audiences lose interest, that is true, but I think the main reason for that is the fact that the focus is taken completely away from the leads after a confession scene and the only thing the leads end up doing is solving someone else's problems, etc. It is always important to show that confession doesn't mean end of romance. Another reason, too many negative characters who are always hell bent in separating the leads once they confess. Audiences love to see happy moments that last longer than a week on the show as well. Too much negativity takes away from the essence of a show.

Well said Nita,

I WISH she had said, there is nobody that could do this job better than KP
Coz thats the truth. Siddharth Malhotra is a joke
99% of today's Bollywood cannot act to save their life. Thats another truth...

Maybe Nawazuddin Siddiqui but he is not glamorous enough for this one.

I wished she had not named any names

KP is better than all

the best line for me "I don't like ishita-raman separately"...I have full faith in sonali mam...even I love ruhi-muthu...missing them so much

the character who is closer to my heart is Raman Kumar Bhalla and Ruhi Raman Kumar Bhalla...
