Mihir and Raman exchanged looks. Mihir murmured in a very low voice, "mujhse to share nhi karenge. Ab client ko to batana padega"

Raman glared at Mihir and welcomed Tandon with a hand-shake.

Raman : hello Mr. Tandon!!

Tandon : Wish you a happy married life Raman! Tune bataya nhi kal sab kaisa rha huh?? (and grins much to the irritation of Raman but entertaining Mihir.)

Raman smiled and replied, "bumper hit!!"

Mihir gave Raman a "what-the-"look!!

Raman gritted his teeth.

Tandon : to phir aj office kaise?

Raman : work comes first!

Tandon visibly impressed, "that's why I chose you Raman! Let's get to work. Wats our strategy?"

Raman : basically we want to create some buzz in the social media. That's the key area today..We are gonna trend our product in twitter.

And so they got engaged in their work both Ishita and Raman. Ishita came back home by 7:30. She made herself busy with all the preparations for dinner and the next day exclusively for her ONLY. By the time she finished her work and had dinner it was 10:00 already. It was time to relax now. Did she share this apartment with anyone else? Ishu was reminded of this only when the door was banged hard while she was watching one of her regular movies in KTV. Ishu looked at the clock. It was 11pm!! She sighed and got up reluctantly to open the door murmuring, "vanduttan murattu kaalai" (here comes the "rude bull" -slang on a Rajnikant movie for untamed people). As soon as she opened the door, Ishita turned her face away due to the odour.

Now now now how could Raman leave an opportunity that could irritate his newly-wed wife!!

He had parted ways with Tandon and Mihir much early in the evening. But the thought of being in the company of this Madrasan drew him to his regular bar and he got carried away as always.

At the doorstep, Ishita gave him a look of pure disgust. Raman raised his eyebrows and looked at her mock fully. He moved closer to her. Now there was no way for her to escape from his alcoholic breath as their faces were inches apart. All she could do was hold her breath to escape from the disgusting smell.

Raman : kya hua? Yehi soch rhi ho na ki shaadi krke pehle din hi pikar aya hu..kya kr logi tum, huh?

Ishu looked into his eyes her eyes spitting fire and her teeth gritted.

Raman : kuch nhi karogi tum..bas ye angry looks de sakti ho.. ab chup chap andar jaa ke so jao..arey JAO..

Ishu shrugged making a face and stomped back to the bedroom.

Raman smirked and said to himself, "ye sahi he beta.. dar gayi Madrasan!!"

But his euphoria was lost the moment he entered their ... HIS bedroom. Ishita was sitting on the centre of the bed almost occupying the whole of it watching TV. Raman kept on staring at her making it clear that he wasn't delighted in any way with the invasion. Seeking no response from her, he opened his cupboard and took his night clothes and went to the bathroom. Ishu sighed and looked at the direction of the closed door. She really thought it was a win-win situation for her but the Raavan Kumar got it back when he went to the washroom. There was only one bathroom and Ishu totally forgot changing into her night clothes before goin for sleep.

Ishu sighed whining, "kya musibat he. Ab ye Raavan apna raaj chalayega."

She got up and took her night clothes and towel from her suitcase sulking. As soon as he came out Ishu left in a hope that she would return quickly. But whom was she kidding?

The moment Ishu got into the washroom Raman took control of the remote. He looked at the screen and saw a frightful looking Sonu Soodh screaming to a messed-up girl in a close-up "Bommaayiii...adiye Arundathi..."

Raman twitched his mouth murmuring, "ye dekho ek chudail dusri chudail ki movie dekh rhi he.."

And he switched on his favorite cricket channel and settled on the bed. Ishita returned and sighed at the sight in front of her.

She quietly occupied her part of the bed and took the quilt over her head. Raman made a point to increase the volume a bit louder just to irritate the Madrasan a bit. Ishita twisted and turned maked "shee..uuhuhh.." sounds and trying to cover herself with one of the soft cushions. Enjoying her irritation, Raman continued to watch the match. Ishu tried very hard to sleep somehow. But there was no way. Everytime a shot was hit this man had to shout and scream as if he is in a gallery and not a bedroom. "Shot..." shouted the commentator and Raman started clapping his hands and shouted in excitement "What a shot!! Superb shot!!"

Ishu pladed, "please band kro na TV. Subah jaldi uthna he mujhe. 8 baje root canal surgery he ek

Raman : to meri surgery thodi na he! Kamra mera he

Ishita : excuse me!!

Raman : Hindi samaj nhi ati? Tamil mujhe ati nhi. Tumhe zyada neend aa rhi he jao hall me jake so jao. Mujhe match dekhni he. Me dekh ke rahunga!!

Ishita looked at him in disgust and turned back again taking the quilt over her head. Raman increased the volume to the maximum in his woofers and continued enjoying the match. That was it for Ishu. She did request once, didn't she? And this man is the height of rudeness!!

She got up from the bed like a phoenix and looked for her mobile in the bedrest. She dialed the first number on her speed-dial. Mihika picked the phone even if she was in deep sleep.

Ishu shouted in her firm voice, "ek baari me baat samajh nhi ati,huh? Kaha na mene mujhe kal jaldi jaana he! Aur uske upar se ye loud volume??"

Raman now realized the shouting was exclusively for him and not for whoever on the other en dof the line and reduced the volume a bit looking at her puzzled.

Ishita "Abhi chup chaap bandh karo ye bakwaas aur so jao. Agey se aise harkat ki na to jis haath se ye control kr rhe ho na wo HAATH THOD DUNGI!!"

Raman gulped at the authority of her voice. He non-chalantly switched off the TV and yawned, "mujhe bhi neend aa rhi he ab. So jaate he."

Ishita didn't give him a second glance and took her previous position beneath the quilt.

Raman murmured to himself, "aur kar beta shaadi! Ye Jhaansi ki Rani to daant ke saath saath hath bhi todna seekh ke ayi he"

Next morning Mihika was waiting for an auto at Noida mod. She was already super-late so no point taking the metro or bus. Her vespa was having some brake issues so it took a day off. And ironically no auto was stopping for her. Even the auto-stand was empty. This only added to her already irked mood from yesterday night. She had no clue why Ishu blasted her and what was she talking. Just then a car stopped in front of her. Mihir got out and wished her a happy morning. Mihika tried to control her foul mood just so that she won't ruin a pretty morning for someone as sweet as Mihir.

Mihir : Mihika me bhi ring-road se hota jaunga. So if you want you can join me..

Mihika replied hesitantly, "nhi..I will manage. Me auto kar lungi"

Mihir : I know you will..but yeha auto milna mushqil he. And saath me baat krte hue bhi chal skte he warna I have to drive all alone in this traffic na..

Mihika smiled and shook her head, "chalo..I'm already late"

Mihir : Dn worry babes, I vl get you on time!

Mihika : what??

Mihir : I mean I vl drop you at the right time!!

As they were waiting for the signal to turn green Mihir voiced his concern, "umm..Mihika don't get me wrong but I'm really worried for bhai and bhabhi"

Mihika : un dono ko kya hua?

Mihir : It may sound strange. I mean bhai aur bhabhi ke shaadi ko abhi 1 week bhi nhi hua. But I feel that they are not even making an effort to know each other. Engagement se leke ab tak..ok chalo shaadi nhi hui..there is this awkwardness..lekin now they r married!

Mihika : tumhe aise kyu lagta he?

Mihir : its just soo obvious most of the time..ye shaadi ke next day back to normal routine long working hours..I dn know..just doesn't feel right.

Mihika looked at this guy sitting beside her. The sincerity in his face was making her heart flutter. Every time she met him, he proved that he is a gentleman. Did she just think her heart fluttered? Focus Mihika..focus!!

Mihika : Mihirrr..ab what can we do? They both are adults na. They can take their own deicisons. It's their life after all. And some people just need time to adjust.

Mihir : yeah, I just hope they both stay happy with each other.

The signal turned green and the car set off.

Ishita was in the hospital checking one of her patients.

Ishu : Rohan agar mumma apko chocolate khane se mana krti he to noo chupke chupke, ok? Warna aise hi mere paas akey injections lagane padenge

Rohan smiled shyly and left with his mom. Ishita sank back on her chair. She slept late and it was a busy day from the morning itself. Just when she completed all her appointments she heard a knock and sighed, "come in!"

Mihika peeped in and Ishita was pleasantly surprised.

Ishita : Mihikaa...haiii.. kya baat he? Aj working hours me mujhse milne ayi ho, waaa..h

Mihika : offo akka! Kal raat se apne meri neend uda di..Y did u call me yesterday?aur ap kya baatein ka rhi thi? I didn't understand a word and you sounded sooo angry..

Ishita's smile faded a bit, "arey that's nothing serious ignore."

Mihika : akka phir bhi batao na.. I really can't focus today without knowing!!

Ishita : Mihika aisa kabhi hua he tumhare saath, that you are in your room after a long-day's work and then suddenly some stranger knocks at your door in the middle of the night and come all drunk and sleep next to you?

Mihika : Akka!! Aisa kiske saath ho skta he?

Ishita : mere saath!! Mere saath yehi ho rha he!! rozz...

Mihika looked at her sister her expression softened, "Akka..married life me ye sab hota rehta he..You just need some time to adjust into this life!!

Ishita : I don't want such a life Mi..

Mihika was now worried, "Akka..apki batein sunke to lag rha he ki ap divorce hi maang logi!!"

Ishu smiled softly "nhi Mihika..I did this for appa!! Unki khushi ke liye.. And I would never ever think about a divorce and give him pain. But I don't like this life, that's all. Wo rude admi..aur subah subah uski wo sadi hui shaqal..huh..hamesha kudkud kudkud krta he..Kudkud Kumar naam hona chahiye tha uska..

Mihika laughed shaking her head. These two needed to sort their problems. That's all she could think.

Ishita : lekin Mihika..now I think I have got a solution to this problem.

Mihika watched Ishu's disappointed expressions changing into a Eureka one and she knew very well trouble was up for her.

Ishita : I mean..really..I can figure out a wonderful solution and mene pehle iske bare me socha hi nhi!! Murugaa...just help me naaa...

Mihika : akka wat are u saying?

Ishita : wo sab he. I vl tell you. There is only one way that I can live peacefully and be in this marriage for everyone else's sake.

Mihika looked at her sister shock. Did she hear herself just now!! Mihir was soo right!! Something had to be done!!
