Raman paced up and down the office room. He already took a drink and also gulped in 2 bottles of cold water, even then he wasn't able to take her off his mind. He cursed and smacked his wife a thousand times for pushing him to this extreme state.

"Uss din kya zaroorat thi mere saamne beitke hook stitch karne ki? Aur mujhe bhi usi waqt aankhen kholna tha...phir woh shower, woh bed!...sab kuch mere khilaaf saazish kar raha hai...sambal jaa Raman...yeh paagal madrasan tumhe bhi paagal banaa rahi hai!"

He roughly ran his fingers on his hair and shook his head vigorously as if to shake off those feelings off him. He was quite sure that this strange confused state of his started off with her hook stitching fiasco, "Damn you Jhansi ki rani! Par main kyun usske baare mein soch raha tha...I surely have better things to do..."

He sat down and swirled around in his chair and tried to focus on some pending work on his laptop but his mind refused to let go of her. From morning, he was on fire, actually burning in the desire for her. It had started some days back but it was at the maximum after the shower incident.

It was a Sunday, a holiday but still, he couldn't stay at home mainly due to her presence around him. In his present state, he couldn't let her come anywhere near him. He didn't know what he would end up doing with her. He had literally run away from home, from her citing some urgent work at office. The whole office was empty and he sat there like a lonely lost soul, actually a hungry soul.

He was finding it difficult to forget her warmth, her closeness, the almost hug they shared. The feeling of her fingers on his bare chest refused to leave him. It was torturing him endlessly and he ached for more of it. He never felt so restless and desperate...

Desperate for her...desperate to touch her...desperate to hold her in his arms!

He longed to bite her apple cheeks which became redder when she felt his gaze on her. He desired to taste those pink luscious lips which she pouted when arguing with him. Quite a few times, he was just inches away from touching her lips but they snapped away. But ever since the first time, his dreams were always of kissing her. He wanted to know how her lips felt against his!

Oh he couldn't explain how he longed for her but she went the opposite way, the extreme way of ignoring his moves making him all the more desperate. He never ever thought in his wildest dreams that he could think this way about her or for that matter about any girl but human emotions were often unpredictable and trying to justify or explain those emotions was impossible.

He had informed at home that he would come back only late at night. He hoped to compose himself before that. He hoped but to his dismay, it wasn't happening. Rather his state was only worsening and everywhere he turned, he only saw her standing...like now, he saw her at the door smiling sweetly at him...and she was walking towards him.

"Oh damn, I am not dreaming...she is really here"

He jerked up from his seat when she enquiringly touched his shoulders, "Raman, aap teek hai??"

He shrugged off her hand as if touched by a live wire and scowled back, "Why did you come here??? Mujhe ek pal ka cheyn nahi deh sakti, huh?...Wherever I go, you follow and torture me"

Ishita was shocked at those words. It wasn't a new thing for Raman to insult and taunt her but this was getting more than what she could handle. She replied, "Raman, what's wrong with you?? Main toh bas aap keliye lunch leke aayi thi..."

"Nahi chahiye lunch...yahaan se jaao tum"

She looked at him puzzled at his odd behavior. She leaned on the table beside him and patiently waited for him to cool down assuming to be some business tension. He looked up at her and shouted, "ek baar mein samajh nahi aata tumhe...I said get lost from here"

She stood fixed to her stand and replied, "No...aap lunch karlo phir main chali jaavungi"

He stood up angrily pushing back away the chair, "arre yaar, nahi chahiye mujhe khaana vaana...Now dont stand here and test my patience"

She remained calm knowing very well about her Raavan kumar and his anger. She enquired in concern, "Raman...tell me what's the problem? Why are you so tensed? Jo bhi ho, mujhse share karo...aap hi kehte ho na ke main aapki taaqat hoom...So whatever it is, tell me...We will solve it together"

She was saying all good things to console and reassure him but little did she know what his state was. He wasn't able to even focus on her words and his eyes were fixed to her most delectable lips which parted and closed gracefully as she spoke and her sweet smile was never so seductive and magical. It was indeed having weird effects on him, as if hypnotizing him to bless them with a heart searing kiss. He tried his best to avert his gaze as always but all his efforts went futile. Quite unaware of what was going on inside him, she went on counseling him. Meanwhile he was totally lost in her already. All logical thoughts and his senses went for a toss with each passing moment.

The self enforced controls which he had built around him for so long broke apart in those moments and every thought and barrier about not touching her flew out of the window. In its place, came in thoughts of a husband who longed for his wife. All his masculine desires and urges came back to life and he clutched her shoulders ceasing her words midway. He was really in no mood of her lectures today. Usually he taunts and mocks her to distance her away but today even that didn't come to his rescue. His controls snapped and he blurted out as if in a trance.

"I want to kiss you Ishita"

Pat came out his first demand without any hesitation or second thoughts. She was shocked and wondered if she heard it right or was she just hallucinating but then he confirmed her doubts, "You heard it right...I am going to kiss you now...only that will solve my problems"

She shrugged it off as his usual taunt or game and tried to step away muttering, "Kuch bhi??" but she couldn't as he tightened his hold on her.

Ishita laughed away his words, "What are you doing Raman? Aapne subah se kuch nahi khaaya na...isiliye aise bhakwaas soch aa raha hai...kuch khaalo...you will be fine!"

But he didn't let her go and his eyes told her that he wasn't playing this time. He was saying what he really wanted to do. His desire was reflecting in his intense eyes and was hooked to her. Somehow that intensity started touching her as well.

She tried to smile, "Raman, you aren't serious, are you?"

"kya lagtha hai tumhe? Yahaan koyi khel chal raha hai, huh? Of course I am serious"

Now that he had voiced out his heart's desire, he looked casual and was naughtily smiling.

He freed her away for a temporarily and walked to the door. He bolted it ensuring none turn up to disturb them. It was a holiday and no staff would come but still he didn't want to test his luck in this matter. He further proceeded to close all the blades and shutters of the glass panes of his cabin. She wasn't in a state to comprehend what was happening. She just stayed in the same place, all stunned and baffled by the sudden turn of events.
