So ever since Ishita has met Pervy late Saturday night there have been things that have been said and pondered over - people are calling this act of Ishita' as her Mahaanta and foolishness all at the same time.

At the risk of kicking up a hornet' nest I am starting this post since I am kinda amazed with this approach here.

I am a voracious reader when and try to read as many books as I can in my spare time - one of my absolute favorite books is The Art of War, an ancient Chinese military treatise attributed to Sun Tzu, a high-ranking military general, strategist and tactician. The book has to be less than 100 pages and is thousands of years old but the lessons taught in it stand true even today.

Why am I mentioning this book here in correlation to Ishita' bring Pervy home plan cos somehow I see so many of the 13 warfare strategies of the book being used here.

Some of the most ancient, age old war tactics are - keep your friends close and your enemies closer & lose a battle to win a war ..

People are wondering why should Ishita do this - why not take Raman into confidence and all but somehow I can see why she did this and more importantly the WHY of the way she did this - this is like her last resort - Simi always keeps blaming her for her broken marriage and home and while she has her reasons to say that... not ONCE has any family member told her don't point your finger at Ishita... nor has anyone explicitly told Ishita its NOT her fault.

Ishita is still finding her feet in a way in this new home and family and here the daughter of the house keeps on blaming her of things she never should and while she has the support of the others... she fears the others might have that very problem in their hearts and minds, that somehow she might have to hear one day should something happen to Simi, should she do something drastic while at the Bhalla home or away from it just because she wants to be with Pervy she would have to hear from the Bhallas - because of you Ishita Simi' happy marriage fell apart, because of you the daughter of the house is ruined.

When Ishita initially came to her MIL and Simi with this problem they didnt even believe her... and now even though she has the belief of her MIL, she hasn't been made to believe no one blames her for this mess. And even though Raman proved her innocent initially he too chose to side with his family, so should really happen to Simi here - Ishita would once again be the scapegoat.

She wants to rip the bandaid off for once so to speak and for that sometimes desperate measures are needed. Also how can we forget - this guy is a family member till he stays married to Simi, so until and unless they get her to wake up and smell the coffee he won't be out of their lives, that he wont stay away permanently is a given since they have a child together - but unless Simi cuts him off they would have his shadow always breathing down their necks. Not to mention she is seeing how this affects Raman and how last when his sister said those words to him that she is breaking her ties with him his outburst was him being hurt by her statements.

Whatever Ishita is doing is for Raman' sake as well here - she sees how his worry for his sister is tearing him apart and how hearing those words from Simi must have hurt him cos Raman may not show it in any other way than his anger but he is very emotional and gets hurt easily. The sister who has known him all his life has forgotten that truth blinded by the love of a repulsive man but the woman who has just entered his life cannot see the man who has always stood by her in any kind of pain.

Saturday night' epi made me think this - when Simi goes on her blame Ishita mission again for the nth time... no one even says a word like why are you blaming her in this your filthy husband went after her, she didn't provoke him and ask him to come and molest her not even Raman... while they are protecting Ishita, defending her and all - which is a good thing - they need to make her know, no one blames her in THIS family.

Her own family especially Mihika was vocal about things when Ishita was back at her Amma' that how can these people do this to you Akka... I rem I loved the gal for her feistiness there but among the Bhallas has anyone ever told her you don't need to blame yourself for Simi' ruined marriage - Pervy is a filthy guy and he would target anything that moves which has a bosom... and that is less than 40 in terms of age... the truth coming out because of what happened with you is unfortunate but NOT your fault. I guess thats what makes Ishita feel so guilty for Simi too.

As is said hear a lie often times and you start believing it and that is I think what is happening here too... Ishita while knowing she is not wrong feels if not for her Simi could have been happier even if living under an illusion. Even in the scene with her Amma she says everyone at home is worried because of her - somehow she feels responsible for a problem even though she is a victim here and not the perpetrator because sometimes you need to hear things to feel absolved.

And with the incident on Rakhi day that happened between Shagun and Tyagi, which Ishita might have learned from Raman perhaps or witnessed... she would be scared to have her SIL - Raman' sis - live in the home of such a man, if he can pimp Shagun, the woman he pretends to call as his fiance in front of the world, Simi is the sister of the man he hates, would he even think once before doing the same with her if someone offered him a deal in lieu of her and could that husband of hers be trusted to protect his wife should such an occasion arise?

Loads to ponder here even if it may seem an act of Mahaanta or illogical at surface value.

Well I have a different view on this

I don't think she should meddle in other matters beyond her brief

It is very likely tables can be turned on her

Pervert can use this opportunity to prove what he was trying to prove earlier that ishita is a characterless woman and it was she who was trying to seduce him

I also think this unilateral approach isn't great when mr bhalla had told everyone to discuss this matter in morning

Aani, I love you. 🤗
I am tired of making people understand Ishita is not being Mahan. I mean it's not like she is bringing Param to stay with Simmi forever so that Simmi can live in her delusional world. Unlike us viewers Ishita understands Simmi's perspective and like you said, the guilt being the most key factor. It's not Ishita considers herself wrong for showing Param's true face but she feels the responsibility towards Simmi both as a SIL and because of Simmi's accusations to open Simmi's eyes to her. I know for once Ishita said she isn't going to let anyone walk over her to Amma and she. is going to hold true to that.
Also, family members need to make it clear to Ishita it's not her fault at all.
Thank you for explaining this in such a beautiful way.

Vyas how can it be meddling in the matters of others when she keeps getting blamed by silly Simi all the time? When Pervy doesnt waste any opportunity to harass her?

She would let Simi be but for that Simi too has to stop dragging Ishita always and blaming her. Here she is being labeled as the reason a happy family got torn apart - she just wants to set things right and clear her name while at it.

Love you too Oishi and thanks for agreeing with me this is not being great just tired of being accused always for no fault of your own.

People dont even like the rakhi thing but I actually see the sense in that too Ishita was not only almost raped by this creep but he accused HER of coming onto him. If she had refused to tie a rakhi to him, Simi would have still kept on saying that Ishita cannot and does not want to make a brother out of her husband since she has the hots for him.

And the masterstroke of the writers doesn't end there - Pervy has dug a hole here for himself, Ishita agreed to tie a rakhi to him but can he change? Thats saying like the sun will rise in west and set in east.

When he next tries something which he would this time Simi would have no reason to believe him, especially when the woman he would be trying to harass/assault would be his sis in a way, as per his own game plan.

Also CVs without going there blatantly since it could bring down hell for them in forms of lawsuits and not to mention the rallying against by various political rallies which does happen in India, the channel and makers are raising relevant things with the least amount of risk involved. Most women are attacked by people known to them and in certain cases of molestation in rural India the verdict in Khap Panchayats - the kangaroo courts - is similar to whats being shown here when some man refuses to let a woman be - tie him a rakhi, as a bro he would protect you and not rape you - as if that is for real - even biologically related men can rape a woman and there is also a thing called incestous relationship - not that I wanna go there.. its really disturbing to even think about.

But why should it matter

Even if others are not spelling it out

They quite clearly are supporting her totally

It is for her support

That pervert is virtually not welcome in family

Now tell me

Texting him

Going to meet him secretly

And then calling him back without asking anyone

It would give wrong impression considering initial argument pervert used against her was same

Do you really think Simmi will see the truth? Because in her she knows Param must be guilty and she has said so too few times indirectly but went on still saying he is her pati. Also Simmi is such woman who is afraid of Divorce. For Simmi divorce is a big thing. She might accept Param still knowing the truth., which she already knows btw in her heart. Hence even if Ishita caught param red handed in front of Simmi, doubt Simmi will separate from param. Then what?
Also by bringing param, what is Ishita exactly expecting? That Param will attack her again? So is she ok with that? The thought itself is disturbing.

Exactly A no one stops Simi from blaming Ishita all they say is shut up and then unload their tensions on Ishita - she is bound to feel burdened by a guilt she shouldn't its natural.

And Pervy being in the Bhalla house is a good thing - in Mahabharata Abhimanyu got killed in the Chakravyuh as we know it - but wonder why that happened? He was overconfident a tad bit to be honest here - he thought he knew how to get in and that would be enough for him to win... but in a Chakravyuh the key was the getting OUT part and not inside it 😉

Pervy for all his smartness is walking into a hostile territory and therein lies his overconfidence which will get him killed - or well in this case slapped and kicked by Raman - once again out of the Bhalla home this time for good.
