Congrats Lucky 😊
And thank you for taking time out for such a detailed post. You are so right. YHM has given us some great characters apart from the leads and you've analysed their dynamics really well. Agree with your take on them 👏

You dedicated this analytical piece to all the YHMians, well there can't b a more valuable dedication than this. You have gone to the length of explaining in n out of all d relationshipships shown in the show.
To tell d truth among literary genres I don't like reading essays much but I liked this piece a lot, although I can't categorise it fully to b an essay.
The evaluation of the relationships has been analysed by you beautifully.
I liked alll the analysis written on each relationship, but I'd like to specially mention the analysis on Param-Simmi [" She
cannot let go of him because she doesn't know
how else to survive. And he cannot let go of her,
because she is the only woman who seems to
worship him, and wants to be close to him,
despite his faults."]-This is sooo sooo true.
Another relationship is of Romi n Sarika..the positive changes they have brought to each other so conspicuous.
Another one of my favourites where you wrote about Ishita being the "light" in Romi's life.
With this thoughtful, well-analysed, beautifully written piece u passed with flying colours 😊
& I can give u nothing but a hug 🤗 You are the only person in IF who amazed me EVERY TIME with ur deep thinking n equally good writing capability.

Congrats on going red Lucky 🤗
res for now need time to edit this which I am short on - its my bro' bday in a couple of hours and have been busy arranging his surprise party 😳EDITED -Such a fab post Lucky and you couldn't have picked a better one to go red 😎Anyways coming back to the topic at hand - I love how you have taken apart each relationship here... I wont go in detail with this one - else my reply would rival the length of your post 😆(you know I am totally capable of that 😆)But the show itself has a title Yeh Hai Mohabbatein - these are love stories - its totally living up to it.There are all kinds of love stories that come across with the characters that the show has so far played with and I am hoping will continue to do so in the future too...It has the kind of love parents and children have, the kind of love that destroys, the kind of love that heals and nourishes, then the platonic love between an elder brother like figure Bala and Ishita which also has an odd tint of guilt added to it which you have correctly deciphered. Then the love of siblings...whether that is in the form of the non-existent kind like between Adi- Ruhi or older pairs like Mihir -Shagun and Raman- Romi- Simi or even that of cousins like Ishita-Mihika- Vandita or Ruhi-Shravan.then there is the kind of love that grandparents have for their grandkids whether it is Toshi aunty' love for Ruhi who became the reason to smile for the Bhalla family and the center of their universe in their dark years or the kind of longing that she has for Adi her first grandchild...Each love with it comes with its own set of responsibilities and liabilities but then again there are people here who are shown as giving it their all to that love and then there are people like Shagun, Param have no regards whatsoever and are so in love with themselves that they chose to negate everyone and everything else. The best lines which I can think of to sum all the different types of love are immortalized by the great Tolstoy"I think... if it is true thatthere are as many minds as thereare heads, then there are as manykinds of love as there are hearts."Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina
