1. Mihir calls Raman "Bhai." It is very common to call your brother-in-law this if he is older in relation to you. I call all of my brother-in-laws "Bhai". Shagun is most likely Mihir's older sister so this would make sense.
2. Raman and Mihir are almost too close. There has definitely been some intense bonding there. It's probably because Mihir supported Raman against his own sister during the divorce. Perhaps Mihir had even testified against Shagun during the custody/divorce proceedings.
3. That night when Mihir is jumping with Trisha in the rain and Shagun approaches them, she seems to carry with her an air of authority when it comes to Mihir. Does anyone remember how she asked him, "Will you not introduce me to your new friend?" There was a demanding tone in her voice, but it was also very familial. It's not like she was talking to her ex-husband's friend. She seemed to be talking to someone she knew very well - someone who she was personally close with.
-To add to 3, I don't remember Mihir ever calling her by any name. There was no "Bhabhi" or "Didi" or anything. I believe he even said that "there is no relation between us now" which is more evidence that they shared a rishta beyond the obvious. That whole scene kind of had an air of suspense or mystery to it.
4. We haven't seen Shagun's parents yet (have we seen her mother? I skip around sometimes), nor have we seen Mihir's. It's likely they have the same parents, which would explain why Mihir is not on good terms with them.
5. I can't think of anything else, but I'm sure there are other clues. What are your ideas?
