Hey guys, finally caught up on YHM after my hiatus, the show has progressed so well. Now coming to the loose threads that beg to be tied to form a coherent track, I have been having a few thoughts regarding their tailoring.
A lot of people have been deliberating over the reason behind Ashok's newfound vengeance with Shagun, and the reason behind the Suraj Kumar induced cold feet in his already superficial relationship. I don't doubt that at some point Shagun will be back to beg forgiveness from Raman post her breakup with Ashok. Without the human ATMs in her life, she has no assets (not even a functioning brain sadly). BUT I do not think this will happen too soon. We are running way too ahead of ourselves, because for IshRa to be separated they have to be together soon. Once they are together, they will face first a few hiccups THEN full on separation (which I'm not a fan of, but creative heads deem necessary to move a romantic subplot forward). I think two of the loose threads will lead to that direction. Herein comes the title of my topic. All this according to me is 'Adi Ke Liye'. No no not in the sense that Raman and Shagun keep using it. I feel that the reason the writers have chosen to bring this turbulence in their relationship is to open a more clear path for Aditya Whateverhislastnameis's custody.
1)Shagun-Ashok Breakup
As I mentioned earlier, without a 'sugardaddy' for lack of a better word, Shagun has nothing. If Ashok does break up with her. She might be a lot of things, but I don't think she will come back to Raman not yet, she's too proud. This is the point I think Adi's custody case will come to the fore. Which court would give the custody of a child to a parent who is known to be conniving (in Ruhi's case) and broke. This will be the first point of against Shagun.
2) Poornima Prakash
I like a lot of other people on this forum believe her to be Shagun's estranged mother, who left her ... either because of her attitude, modelling career, or even Raman's status ... what have you. There seems to have been a fallout between her and Toshi but she also seems extremely fond of Ruhi. I believe that she will stand witness against Shagun when the time comes and testify in favour of Ishita and her supreme maternal capabilities. I genuinely believe this is what her character as been introduced for.
So where will Shagun go?
3) Mihir - Mihika MU.
I believe that after Ashok does whatever it is he plans to do in Mihika's case, MiMi wedding will be put on hold, and Mihir will be devastated. I feel that Raman might either take Mihika's side, or Mihir will just become bitter, and here is where Shagun will find a shoulder to lean on. No matter what one says they feel about someone, blood is blood. This is loose thread number 3.
Now I don't know where this birth swap nonsense is going, but I think its just a lighthearted entertaining side-story.
Basically, this story is heading to opening of paths that lead to a strong case in Adi's custody going to Raman and Ishita. Adi will obviously create problems etc. but this is something we all expected. Writers have opened all these storylines 'Sirf Adi Ke Liye'š so chill guys, Shagun is coming to separate IshRa this soon (or so my ever-optimistic mind believes)
On a side note, has anyone noticed how today when Raman gifted Ashok that wonderful facial on his birthday, he didn't even stop to LOOK at his dear Adi. Biwi ke liye sar pe ghussa itna sawar tha, ke apne laadle bete se hello tal nahin bola? Poor kid was hiding behind his mom's palluš. I liked how Raman was so involved with avenging Ishita's mishap that he completely let go of his Adijhaap. He didn't even stop to consider that he would look like a monster to Adi for what he did. Its not like he didn't have time to contemplate, he did. I mean he was brooding in the doorway for a good five minutes, so he had to have seen Adi. He just didn't careš. I am not condoning that a father stop caring for his kid, but it was a nice change to see Raman indifferent to that nautanki for a change.
That's a wrap. Feel free to post any views, contentions or what have you. I always love reading your lovely responses.
