Hey everyone, this is my second OS on Ishra as a thank you for all the lovy comments on my first OS. I had a spur of inspiration after seeing a beautiful dress and that's how this one shot came to be. I hope you all enjoy it and please do leave your thoughts below. This one shot surrounds a party held in honor of Raman's new award.

Raman walked into his bedroom to find a frustrated looking Ruhi sitting on the bed surrounded with various sarees strewn all over the place. Her gaze were fixed on a confused looking Ishita who was standing by the cupboard eyeing another saree. "Acha huva aap agaye papa", Ruhi said as she jumped off the bed and rushed towards Raman. Ruhi informed a visibly amused Raman of Ishita's indecisiveness over her outfit for the night. "Ishima jabse decide kar rahi hai ke woh aaj party mei kaunsa dress pehenegi, mei tho thakgayi dekh dekh kar, ab aap hi sambhalo", Ruhi said as she ran off to play with Shravu.
Raman walked over to a frazzled Ishita who disposed yet another misfit onto the floor. "Ishita tum theek tho ho, party mei jaane mei abhi do ghante hai aur tum abhi se pareshan ho?" Raman asked looking concerned at her frazzled state."I know abhi time hai but today is a big deal for you Raman, everyone's eyes are going to be on you tonight." Ishita replied attempting to mask the nervousness in her voice. Ishita knew all eyes would be on Mr and Mrs Bhalla tonight and to be honest she didn't want to disappoint Raman. " I want to look nice warna log kahenge Raman Kumar Bhalla, CEO of the year ki wife ek behenji-" Ishita began to say before Raman cut her off. " Ki wife ek behtareen doctor, responsible bahu aur achi Ma hai", Raman said easing Ishita's worries as he shuffled through Ishita's cupboard.
A genuine smile graced Ishita's face, trust her Ravan Kumar to ease her jumbled up nerves so effortlessly. " Perfect, this is what you are wearing today", Raman said holding out a gorgeous white gown in front of Ishita. "Yeh, please Raman I bought this many years ago for a formal award ceremony on Mihika's insistence lekan pehane ki himmat ki nahi huvi", Ishita said. " Tho aaj pehanlena" Raman said in his no nonsense voice, "Raman please log kya kahenge, it will look so bad on me" Ishita protested but Raman wouldn't hear any of it. Finally, Ishita gave in and began to pamper herself for the party.
Despite feeling silly dressing up like a youngster, Ishita was excited to dress up in Raman's choice and to attend the party. After an hour of curling her hair and applying make-up Ishita was finally ready. She was applying the finishing touches to her mascara when Raman walked in dressed in grey slacks and a crisp white shirt. He picked up the tie lying on the bed and turned towards the mirror when he caught Ishita's reflection in the mirror.
Raman's jaw dropped open at the sight before him, Ishita looked divine. The white dress against her golden skin was creating a havoc in his heart, while her curled updo gave her a royal look her simplicity shone through making her look angelic. Raman couldn't believe his luck, this goddess standing before him was his Jhansi ki Rani, Mrs. Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla.
"Raman, laiye aapki tye mei bandh deti hoon", Ishita said breaking Raman out of his spell. She gingerly reached for his tye and began to fix it around his neck. Raman couldn't understand how someone could look so masoom, yet light him on fire all at the same time. A slight blush colored her cheeks as she felt Raman's piercing gaze on her face, any thoughts of looking silly went out the window when she saw the way Raman was looking at her. Ishita swelled with pride knowing she had an effect on husband who was dressed to kill tonight. Together the two of them headed out for the night after kissing Ruhi goodbye.
After a quiet peaceful ride the reached the party venue and Raman led Ishita inside. There were many introductions and hellos being passed as Raman led Ishita to a group of his friends. "Aao Ishita, you've met Rehan and Sameer before, aur yeh Rehan ki biwi hai", he said pointing out two young guys and a pretty lady. "Arey wah Ishitaji, aaj tho aap bohat achi lagri hai kahin aapko nazar na lagjaye", Sameer said with a friendly wink, "Kuch Bhi Sameer" Ishita replied with a smile. Raman however wrapped his arm around Ishita's waist and responded with a good natured "Oye Bhabhi hai teri, tu apne Bhai pe he nazar rakh".
The rest of the party was a breeze, Raman and Ishita really enjoyed themselves, they even danced on a couple of romantic numbers. Hand in hand, the couple dressed to perfection looked surreal as they were lost in each other, needless to say they were the spotlight of the party.
It wasn't until after they had reached home and changed into their nightwear when Ishita noticed Raman sitting on the bed humming one of the songs they had danced on. A smile crept onto her face when she saw the content look on his face, Ishita made her way towards the bed to grab a pillow when Raman stopped her. "Ishita tum yahaan soh sakhti ho, I promise mei tumhe kha nahi jaonga", Raman said patting the space beside him.
Once Ishita had settled under the covers and Raman had turned the lamp off, Raman turned towards Ishita with a dimpled smile lighting up his face. "Ishita, tumhe Mr.Chadda yaad hai party se, jaante ho maine unke pass internship ki thi college mei lekan mei bohat badmash huva karta tha..." Raman trailed off into his animated story. Ishita lost herself in her thoughts, she couldn't have asked for a better end to the night, Raman looked so happy sharing stories from his college days his eyes lighting up excitedly. Ishita's train of thoughts broke when she felt Raman reach for her injured wrist, still lost in his story he absentmindedly massaged her wrist like the Doctor has instructed. Ishita closed her eyes and said a silent prayer, thanking the God above for blessing her with such a caring husband before she drifted into a deep slumber hands intwined with Raman.
