Reverse blackmail back at Raman is an awesome plan by Ishita. Do continue so that we know what Raman does to escape this.

Part-2 (completed)

Raman thinks to self- twice I had said 'I love you' to her so there shouldn't be a problem in saying it for the third time. But why am I feeling nervous thinking of proposing her? (Shakes his head) No raman no! This is just a challenge and you have to do this.
After all, I'm not proposing her in real. So why should I be nervous!

Ishita on the other side wonders if she did the right thing by challenging Raman to propose her in front of the world.
She thinks to self - ayoo murugan! Kahin ravan kumar ne ye challenge poora kiya toh? No no, raman sabke saamne I love you nahi bolenge! Par agar bol diya toh?

She remembers about the both times when raman so easily said I love you to her even if it was a lie.
She snaps out of her thoughts and convinces herself- ab jo hoga dekha jayega. Even if Raman proposes me, I should not react since I only told him to propose his fake love!

Ishu, be strong! And don't turn into an emotional fool!- she adviced herself.

Next morning, Raman left early to the office and instructed mihir to not let anyone enter his cabin or disturb him.

He opened a bag which had lots of SRK movie CDs. He started playing one by one on his laptop to get ideas to propose his fake love in a romantic way as demanded by his jhansi ki rani!

He goes through the romantic scenes and feels nervous imagining him and ishita in their roles.

He thinks- I love you bolna kya kam saza tha jo madam ko romantically srk ke style me propose karna hai! Khud ko kajol samajhti hai madrasan! Pagal aurat!

Mihir enters the cabin to discuss an important detail of a project when he sees Raman watching kuch kuch hota hai and notices tons of movie CDs spread across his table.

Raman shuts the laptop on seeing mihir and tries to hide the CDs when Mihir tries to control his laughter and asks "bhai, aap aur romantic movies? Kuch kuch hota hai kya?"

Raman stares at him seriously when mihir says "I mean the movie- kuch kuch hota hai- jo aap dekh rahe the!"

Raman throws a CD at mihir who catches it and reads the movie title - "Hum tumhare hai sanam! Interesting!"

Raman loses his cool and tells mihir that ishita had challenged him to propose her in front of the world in typical srk style and that's why he is watching the movies to get some ideas.

Mihir laughs at Raman but seeing his expressions, he controls and says "isme problem kya hai bhai? Take her to a five star restaurant, give her chocolates and flowers and propose her infront of everyone. Simple!"

Raman gets annoyed and says "tumhara dimaag kya rent pe deke aaye ho? Teenagers hai kya jo chocolate n flowers se propose karo bol rahe ho! Grow up man!"

Mihir gives few other options but nothing convinces raman as few seem too much to enact while other options seem too intimate for him or ishita to be comfortable to handle.

Later, Raman reaches home at around 11pm only to find the lights of the house off and everybody seemed to be asleep.
He goes to his room to find ishita sitting on the bed and resting her head against the bedrest while her hand was over Ruhi's sleeping form.

He smiles seeing her and decides not to wake her up for his dinner. He opens the cupboard to get his night clothes when the slight sound wakes her up.

She sees him and asks "bahut der hogaya aaj aapko?"

He replies "haan, office me bahut kaam tha. Ab sawaal hi karti rahogi ya khaana lagaane ka kasht bhi karogi? Bahut bhook lag rahi hai."

She makes faces at him and leaves the room to serve his dinner as he freshensup and settles on the dining table.

As he starts eating, he coughs up and drinks water as ishita bites his lips to control her laughter.

He looks at her in anger and asks "ye kya hai? Sabji me namak daala ya namak me sabji?"

She replies with a smile "wo kya hai na aap humesha promises thodte ho toh iss baar...thoda namak zyada daala maine taaki aap ye khaane ke baad apna promise yaad rakhen aur mujhse namak haraami na karen iss baar!" She winks at him and leaves from there.

He mutters to himself- "promise fullfill karne ke liye aadmi ko zinda toh rehna chahiye na! Ye khaana khaake bp itna high hojayega ki aadmi hii updar utt jaye! "

Next morning, Mihika comes excited to Bhalla house and tells everyone that her boss had organized a party for her as she has got promotion and so she's inviting them for the same.

All are happy and decide to attend it.

Ishita reminds raman that only few hours are left for him to fulfill his promise.

He tells her off "Pata hai! Baar baar yaad dilaane ki zaroorat nahi hai."

He leaves from there and ishita smiles thinking- I know ki aap haar jayenge.

In the evening, everyone arrives at the party. Raman was quite engrossed in checking ishita as she was attracting everyone's eyes sizzling in the white floor length gown which mihika gifted her and insisted to wear it for her sake.

After the announcement of Mihika's promotion and cake cutting ceremony, everyone were busy talking to each other.

Mrs.Bhalla asked Ishita "oye, Raman kitthe hai?"

Just then the lights go off and ishita's eyes turn to the stage on hearing Raman's voice "Excuse me ladies and gentlemen. May I have your attention please. And ishita, this one is for you."

Ishita was searching for Raman but she could only hear his voice. Mihika dragged her to the front as the projector started and photos of Ishita and Raman were flipping as Raman's voice narrated a story.

"I know this party is in the honor of Mihika's promotion, but I'm here to confess something very personal infront of the world."

"She came into my life when I thought I wasn't even alive in this world after someone backstabbed me and left me in search of her luxuries.
She entered my life as a mother to my ...sorry...our daughter Ruhi.

I was moved by the way she selflessly loved Ruhi though we still hated each other and I never left a chance to humiliate her or taunt her.
She bore every pain that I gave her yet never left by my side.
She appreciated when I did right thing and she confronted me when I was wrong.

Slowly, she filled my bitter life with her sweetness and care. She became my best friend and I couldn't imagine a day without waking up to her lectures or without teasing her and seeing her cute angry face. I hated to see tears in her eyes and it hurt me like hell if I was the reason of her tears.

She always respected our relation and marriage and gave her patience, understanding, care and love in this relationship without expecting anything from it or from me.

Ours is a very unusual love. Usually, people become friends, fall in love, get married and become parents. But maybe, God has written our story backwards!

We first became parents to our daughter Ruhi, then got married, and slowly became friends and finally fell in love.

Today, infront of everyone, I wanna thank my wife for coming into my life as an angel and filling it with her love and compassion."

Ishita had unshed tears in her eyes listening to all this. She wondered if it was true or was he faking all this while for the challenge.

The projector stopped on the final picture of a Raman and Ishita looking at each other as Raman appeared on the stage with a mike in his hand and requested "Ishita, please come on stage."

Ishita was feeling as if she may have nervous breakdown at any moment. Mihika pushed ishita towards the stage as everyone clapped.

Ishita stood still like a statue on the stage staring at raman without even blinking as he held out a rose and went on his knees, looking into her eyes passionately as he said

"I LOVE YOU ishita. Will you bear your whole life? Will you be mine and only mine forever?"

Ishita didn't know how to react. She prepared herself mentally convincing herself that his fake love confession will not affect her as she knows the truth of their relation. But, is every word of his spoken today, was it all lie? Was everything that he did just now was only to win the challenge? Is it that easy for him to lie so convincingly?

Thousands of questions were running through her mind when Raman snapped at her muttering in a low voice "ab jaldi se kuch bologi bhi? Yahan mere ghutnon me dard ho raha hai!"

She controls her emotions with a heavy heart and forces a smile on her face as she accepts the rose and helps him stand on his feet.

Everyone claps at the couple as Raman hugs her tightly and says again "I love you Ishita"

Ishita couldn't control anymore and slowly she whispers to Raman trying to sound unaffected "wah Ravan kumar! Maanna padega. You are a brilliant actor. Every word seemed so real. Par abhi thoda over acting nahi ho raha?ek baar I love you bola kaafi hai na. Why again hugging n telling me I love you? Too much into the role play haan?"

Raman suddenly realised that he got carried away on hearing her and broke their hug leaving the stage.

Iyers and Bhallas were happy to see raman and ishita confessing their love. They all were teasing them and were happy when slowly Raman drifted away and went to washroom.

He splashed cold water on his face to cool his mind and looked in the mirror remembering ishita's words praising his acting for his fake confession today.

He was confused and wondered if really was he acting or did he confess his feelings in truth to her today.

He tried to convince himself that ishita is right and he only did everything as a part of the challenge and nothing else.

But his heart wasn't accepting it and it made him realise that whatever today he spoke was the truth and there was not even a single lie in his words.

As he returned back into the party, ishita walked to him and teased him saying "aapka act kitna convincing tha raman. Dekho humare parivaar waale kitna khush ho rahe hai ye soch ke ki jo bhi aapne abhi kahan stage pe wo sab sach hai. Chalo atleast iss jhoote confession se dono parivaar to khush hai atleast. Aur see our Ruhi...she's on cloud nine ki uske mummy papa ek dusre se love karte hai."

Raman had it enough as he grabbed her arms strongly and brought his face closer to hers saying "zaroori nahi hai ki har feeling jhooti ho. Insaan jhoot ya sach bol sakta hai par dil jo mehsoos karta hai, wo jhoot nahi ho sakta. Dil me jhaanke dekhogi tab tumhe apne aap pata chal jayega ki sach kya aur jhoot kya hai!"

Saying so, he freed her from his hold and left from there leaving behind a confused and baffled ishita.

She stood there still trying to understand what he meant by his words.

She wondered if he meant that what he told today was truth or did he mean that whatever he told wasnt entirely a lie?

Uff ye Ravan kumar, koi bhi baat seedhe muh kyun nahi karsakte hai ye? Har baat ghooma firaakar bolte hai!
Ayoo murugan! Give me strength to bear him my whole life!- She cursed him under the breath as she went back to her family happily chit chatting in the party.
