His Guys, thanks for all the great message and I think that I am a little nervous about the current upcoming tracks that I am writing my own YHM scenarios, that's how a two shot is turning into an OS. Not sure how long my creative juices will continue but I will try until the spring runs dry. Hope you enjoy the next part as much as I enjoyed it in my head. please note that in my haste to get this out i didnt proofread, so forgive my mistakes and hope it makes sense :)

Part 3:

As Ishitha and Raman neared the doorway to their home, they each stole a glance, sighed and smiled. Raman walked into the house first and after greeting everyone walked straight into his room. He heard Ishitha walk into the house and talk animatedly with everyone, hugging and picking up Ruhi, enquiring about school, she then proceeded to offer to make chai for pappaji, mammaji and Romi. She was the centre of attention for no reason except she was the bahu of the house and everyone loved to open up to her about their day. He realised that no matter how tired she was, she gave her individual attention to every single member. A warm glow spread through his body and he realised that even in his happiest moments with Shagun, it had been him and Shagun, never Shagun and his family. Shagun was spoilt by him and he catered to her whims and fancies. Did Shagun then truly become the bahu of the bhalla family?

But what now he thought? What did their love confession mean earlier in the evening, were they now truly moving forward. Yes he was experienced, but for Ishitha this was her first (and definitely her last) marriage. He knew she had courted Subbu for many years but he never knew how far that had progressed with a physical relationship. He suspected that knowing Ishitha, probably not very far and he was monumentally grateful. He would be her one and only. He felt a sense of possession, a feeling of obsession that was different to the submissive love he had for Shagun. He felt like Ishitha's protector, her love, her partner, her confidant, the one person who was made for her and her for him. It needed to be a courtship not a race; this was his gift to Ishitha.

He freshened up, changing into his pyjamas and started working on his laptop and when Ishitha walked in, she was humming quietly and he looked up and they looked at each other and both smiled and blushed. Usually their eyelocks were followed with an awkwardness that Raman usually reacted with anger. But not today, she smiled and turned to get her pyjamas to have her evening wash. Ishitha was gone for a long while and Raman had already given up the idea of working anymore that evening. As he cleared away his files and turned back to the bed he realised that the pictures above his bed, correction their bed needed to be changed. There were three portraits that hung above his bed that were all of him, this had to be changed and soon.

Ishitha walked into the room and motioned toward the bed to get her pillow when Raman said "err Ishitha, I was thinking about you err perhaps you could sleep on the bed" there was a moment of silence and Ishitha looked at Raman but he looked at the cricket on the tv. He looked like he was trying very hard to keep his composure. Ishitha sat on the bed and said "Raman, I know that we have spoken of love, forever and wanting a true marriage but I'm not ready". Raman, trying to be cool turned to her and said "arre yaar, its not like that, I just don't want you to be far from me, I love you and I would never rush you, if you feel that you must sleep on the couch then it is okay, but I want you here next to me always. I promise not to do anything until you and I are ready for that step. I want to wake up with you, reach out and touch your hand to know that this is real; I want to talk to you through the night and laugh with you. We are not roommates but we have a relationship that needs to develop. Please Ishitha, don't sleep on the couch." Wasn't this what Ishitha was looking for, a companion and a friend, she needed him like he needed her. With a nod of her head and a smile she lifed her feet off the floors and slipped them under the covers. "But Raman, you can't watch the cricket all the time and annoy me with the volume, this is a partnership and there are no majority stakeholders here".

Raman looked down at her from his side of the bed and while looking at the tv muttered "what have I started now" loudly and clearly enough for he to hear! She smiled to herself and rolled her eyes, happy with their little banter. She reached for her phone to set the alarm, placing it on the side table. Now what she thought, do I just go to sleep, one moment he talks about wanting to talk to her and now he is watching tv! As if Raman had read her mind he switched the tv and the lights off and got under the covers. They lay on their backs looking at the ceiling self-conscious of each others presence. Was this shared bed a bad idea? Raman turned to ishitha and she turned to face him, they looked at each other and a small smile spread across both their faces. Ishitha lifted her hand from under the covers and placed it in the valley made by their two pillows. Raman too followed suit and placed his hand over ishithas. She smiled and closed her eyes. Tonight was going to be the best sleep.

Both Raman and Ishitha stirred at the same time, the sun had just begun to rise and they still had half an hour before Ishitha's alarm would go off to start her day as Ishima, Akka, bahu, and dentist. Raman and Ishitha were still holding hands and both looked at each other. Raman lifted his hand from hers and reached across to her face, he placed his hand on her cheek and said "this has been the best night of my life, I have never felt so good" to which she said "but Raman, nothing happened, we just slept next to each other". Raman, gently brushed a few strand of hair from her face and said "this is the start of my life with you, the darkness has lifted and I can be as happy as I want. I love you and can't wait to see you again tonight. I will think of only you through my day" as she looked at Raman with him gently stroking her cheek they were both startled with the ringing alarm, aware that that this evening could not come any faster.

As ishitha left the room humming a happy tune, Raman stretched out in bed and decided that they needed to go on a date...
