Be-lagam Zindagi

I was thinking of Ishita and the hundreds of Ishita's of this world. She is beautiful ,coming from a good family,well brought up ,well educated,has always done well in studies ,sincere about her career, found Subu at the right age,didn't work out ,prepared to consider Pratik. A girl whose luck didn't side her in every matter,but she was moving on and living her life .Within the parameters of her parent's values and rules,within her comfort zone, realising that as an adult it is her duty to adjust. And she did it with a smile. But all along she was enjoying a "be-lagam" zindagi in her little world. Ruhi was the child next door,whom she felt drawn to, she felt the vacuum in her life which she had put on the back burner was getting filled because of her interaction with Ruhi. Well coming to think about it why should Ruhi be a victim of a custody battle,why is it that Ruhi who was brought up by grand parents,a doting uncle and two aunts should become a victim of a near accident or overdose of medicine .Ishita happening to be there to rescue her is not strange but that this should happen to Ruhi is not ordinary.And ofcourse gradually things came to such a pass that she married a divorcee with two children,and that was the end of her steady be- lagam zindagi.Undoubtedly the blossoming of love will make up for it. And in this world however,emancipated our thoughts may be the world does and isn't evolving and imbibing new thinking however just and good it might be at the same speed. All of us are mostly conformists and therefore specially for women even today marriage gives a security .Feeling of security is usually linked to some discipline also. So however great this be-lagam zindagi is -- marry you must--But he should be a compassionate,understanding man,never mind if he is a bit strict ,short tempered,makes you smile with his one liners , and despair with his impatience ,but if it is somebody like one Mr Raman Bhalla the Ishita's of this world are in safe hands for sure.
