Bloopers of the day: Let's get the bloopers out of the way? How many years has Pathak been practicing law? Was the stress of the case getting to him that he referred to Mrs. Kaul as "my client"🤔shayad bhool rahi hai ki case was not filed by Mrs. Iyer but my Mrs. Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla." Why did Ishu walk around to the driver side of the car when Raman asked her to get in the car when he was actually standing next to the side view mirror on the passenger side of the vehicle😕? It was Raman who drove away later with a bleeding hand. The driver's side is on the right in India isn't it?
Defense of the day: A brisk Raman made a beeline for Pathak in the courtroom. After Pathak presented medical evidence implying Mrs. Iyer was at fault for the accident, she was ready to take the stand. But Raman beat her to it and headed to the witness box from where he berated Pathak for questioning Mrs. Iyer mental health. Pathak explained his actions in private to Raman that Mrs. Iyer had been concerned about the case affecting Ishu and Raman's marriage, and that's when Raman began to question his choice to do all this for Adi. It didn't sit well with him that his decision was now hurting everyone near and dear to him. Shagun saw her loosing control of Raman's puppet strings and went into default mode, trying to brainwash Raman with Adi jaap once again. Her desperation was obvious! He has had an overdose of "sirf Adi ke liye" in the past few weeks. By the time this case is done, Raman may well detest hearing Adi's name again. Alavikku meerinal amrithamum visham (Too much of a good can become poison).
Raman's epiphany (in my opinion): This was the day that Raman had an ephipany, a revelation that unraveled rather rapidly, that explains what transpired once he left the courtroom. He had made it very clear to Pathak that he didn't want any family members hurt because of the case, especially Ishu. Shagun walking out on him years ago had left deep emotional wounds that still rattle him to this day.
Outside the courtroom Shagun took Mihir to task for his betrayal and disloyalty to Raman. Look who's talking🤪! Does she think she's looking into a mirror every time she talks to someone about Raman or Ishu? Mihir very calmly told Shagun where his loyalties lay...with Ishu, his bhabhi and Ruhi's mom. He also reminded Raman he was on Ishu's side and that they would wait for him to return back to Ishu and his family. Raman didn't respond but he probably was glad Mihir was there for Ishu until he got himself out of the mess of this case. That wasn't the only slap in the face for Shagun for the day.
Raman hung outside the courthouse until Ishu finished her conversation with Mrs. Kaul. He knew his lies and secrets had created a distance between him and Ishu that she was now giving him the silent treatment. That's a hard one for Raman to swallow, his lecture queen was MIA.He was ready for the case to be over and done with, to clear Shagun of charges for Adi's sake so he could get back to his own life with his Jhansi ki rani.
Raman offered Ishu a ride home/clinic, but she turned him down, reminding him he had already dropped her from his life. Ishu's rejection of his offer reopened old wounds. This was a painful subject for Raman and it stirred very intense reactions in him deeply. So when pervert Param stepped in Ishu's way and harassed her with an offer for her a ride home against her wishes, the simmering volcano in Raman erupted, and all that buried hurt and outrage needed an outlet. So who better to be on the receiving end of his simmering rage than pervert Param? His fury had him throwing punches at Param and kicking blindly that he even struck Pathak a blow for getting in the way. Eventually it was Mihir and Pathak who grabbed him.
Shagun as always showed up to stir the witch's brew and reached for his bleeding hand. The last thing Raman needed was the face that reminded him of her bitter betrayal standing before him showing concern. A disgusted Raman shirked Shagun's hand away, grabbed Ishu by the wrist and walked away. When Ishu asked him to let her go, his passionate reply was wrenched from the core of his being "I'll never let her go, you are my wife." That possessive and passionate outburst was in response to the fear of revisiting his worst nightmare. Raman was drawn to Ishu's inner beauty, he could never let Ishu walk out of his life. He wouldn't do to her what Shagun had done to him. He knew the gut-wrenching pain of that kind of rejection.
He drove in the rain with a bleeding hand and refused to stop until they reached home. Ishu angrily told him that she wasn't going to run out on him in the rainstorm (meaning, she wasn't going to run out on him when there were stormy situations in their lives). He needed to hear that she would not walk out of his life and it calmed him down.
Ishu reached out for his hand to stop the bleeding and wrapped his hand with a kerchief. After her silent treatment of the past few days, Raman was ready to hear Ishu give him the time of day. He would take her lecture any day over her silent treatment. Anything she had to say would be music to his ears and soothe his soul. Raman agreed to let Ishu take the driver's seat to get them safely home,in more ways than one.😉
Whiz kids: Ruhi gave Shravu all the credit for his plans. She was happy that Ishu and Raman were not fighting anymore after they danced together the night before. The innocence of Ruhi and Shravu is heartwarming. Bala is a good man, as Vandu's hubby, as Ishu's confidante, as Shravu's dad, Ruhi's uncle, and Adi's tutor. Will we get to see him give Adi a piece of his mind, and Raman a straight talk? It's been long overdue!
Raman accused Shagun or not showing any concern for another woman. Today she told Param he chose the wrong time to harass Ishu. Who in their right mind would ever imply there was a right time to harass another woman? Would she have liked it if she was on the receiving end of harassment of another sleazy Param?
Shagun's short-lived plans to split Ishu and Raman using the Adi mantra was on its last legs. Shagun will always put her needs first. She won't think twice to sell her son down the river to protect herself. She will be back to her "He's everything to me" Ashok and look for another point of entry to mess with Raman's life.
How ironic if Shagun after holding Raman back with "Adi ki kasam" from telling Ishu the truth, does it herself to end this whole incident. Maybe Shagun's point this time around was to prove to Raman that she could use Adi anytime as a trump card and get Raman to dance to her tunes. She will keep reassuring herself she still controls his life. That would be a pathetic way to live when she's got Ashok "everything to me" waiting in the wings for her attention. Who knows she may yet get her 5 carat rock someday if she hangs around long enough.🤔
