AT the risk of sounding like a snob, let me get it out anyway - I cannot imagine someone writing this beautiful work while listening to that song...

I dont mean to belittle the song, its just that i am amazed you could write something so deep and serious while listening to it 😛

Haha Lucky you just made me chuckle out loud. I wrote this on my commute this morning, iPod was on shuffle and so I didn't actually pay too much attention to what I was listening to and I actually had to look down and see just to add it to the post ! You know TFL so I always have some kind of music on to ease the noise! But yes I can imagine looking at the song and then the words I wrote it would be odd

well I was on the bus and I actually made a face when I read it... my confusion must have been visible on my face. I can only imagine what the others thought. But i have stopped worrying about it now 😆

Lucky I gave up worrying about people looking at my weird grins on the train when I would read your work in the morning!! But ok promise will put disclaimers next time when the music may not be to everyone's taste . And if it makes you feel better 'toh phir aao' started playing when I was nearly done!

Hey guys so this was inspired after the IshRa conversation in their bedroom last night.

I was listening to Sober by Pink, it's a song that always kinda reminds me of Raman.

Fragment iii satisfy you

Are we not enough
enough to satisfy her
Does she long for him
Does she still seek him
Am I not enough
Enough to bring her joy
Does he still live deep within her
Does he resonate in her every spoken word
Why do her words prick at me
Pierce deep and hard
Am I not worthy of her
Do I bind her and she seeks respite
Respite from me
Please let it not be

"Please let it not be" >> brought me precariously close to choking up at work !!! wonderfully written Uz... I loved the simple words describing such deep emotions. The man is restless now. he wants to(and needs to) know if there is place for him in her heart!!!
