Maybe she told Adi to lie to Raman that he did the accident because only then Raman will help them out ...Like the way she made Adi request Raman for a family picnic! ..(I don't think it's right to show a young kid almost kill someone!)

Raman foolishly believes it is Adi and is fighting against his conscience and loved ones to save him ..

Ishita might get evidence to show that it was Shagun and it was no accident that she hit amma ..on the contrary she did it purposely! ..
