She wrapped the towel around herself and reached her bedroom and started looking for her night clothes from her cupboard .
Just then he smelled a fresh draft of lavender and turned around to look at the most beautiful sight in his life... His wife smeared with hot droplets of water on her shoulder ... Right out of fresh shower in a bath towel ... He thought he lost his senses for a second or so which seemed like eternity ...
The moment he turned around she noticed that she was not alone in the room ... She too turned around just to look at him ... Transfixed his eyes onto her holding his file in his hand ...
She could feel him scanning her each n every part of her body ... She felt as if she was not even wearing that towel... Slight redness had crept on her cheeks and she felt as if she was a teenager again to be kissed by her crush from school ...She felt rooted to the place to where she was standing ... Slowly he started taking steps towards the beautiful woman in front of him ... He felt something which pulled him towards her just as iron gets attracted towards magnet... When she saw him coming towards her she felt as if her whole body melted and she could feel his touch on her bare skin... Her antics made him break off the spell ... He smirked and yelled "Bewakoof Aurat" with a soft chuckle and went out laughing holding his file ...
This was it! She had never felt so foolish in her entire life... She muttered "Praand Ishu what were you thinking... Urgghh" ... She felt dejected, stupid and embarrassed at the same time ... Slowly all the above emotions turned into anger and she vowed to herself that she would teach her Ravan kumar a lesson some day ...
When he returned back to his room at 3 he saw his wife sleeping peacefully on the couch ... He remembered all the happenings in a split second a let out a sweet smile at his wife's stupidity ... He knew he would've gone overboard in that moment and done all the things that he wanted to and he also knew that she would've let him but he wanted to resist his temptations ... He had already hurt his wife in Adi accident case and he wanted to slowly build that very trust which was broken by him ...
Only he knew how difficult was it to him to hAve a platonic relationship but he never wud've liked to force himself onto her ... He was ready to wait and he wud've waited till eternity for her ...
After he had almost confessed to her about his feelings to her she had said " let's start over as friends" ... He didn't knew what she was contemplating but he didn't wanted to spoil any chances ... At the back of his mind he knew she did like him a lot but was unsure if she loved him ...
He thought it's not necessary to explicitly say that he loves her and he knew that she would be able to feel about it ... All this while he was sitting close to her thinking about things had changed within such a short span of time and smiling to himself while looking like a complete idiot ...
He didn't touch her although he badly wanted to as he didn't wanted to break her sound sleep ...
Little did he knew after he left to change his clothes that his wife was awake all the time observing him from the small corner of her eye ...,
She knew after his almost confession that he loved her ... But she was not sure if that was love or mere attraction ... When today all that happened she had seen fire in his eyes to own her and she knew it was more than plain simple infatuation ... She knew he resisted and his this very action confused her... At that very moment she knew this was not attraction but something more than that...
The very thought that Ravan kumar didn't use her in her weakest point proved that he wanted more from this relationship beyond physical needs ... She smiled at that thought and started faking sleep as he entered the room...
Both spent the night tossing in their respective places by trying to block the thoughts that crept coming up about their encounter a while ago...😆
