Is Raman saving Adi?

Could it be the convo.of Shagun begging, Adi pleading to not send his mom to jail and Raman in shock was not shown in full during that episode? Has it been saved for a flashback later on in the story telling? Has Raman heard Adi confess to the accident and he wants to protect him?

Raman's defense has always been "I'm doing all this sirf Adi ke liye, mere bete ke liye". He has said to Ishu he and Shagun are jointly taking care of a problem relating to Adi and all is not as it seems..If he doesn't take care of the problem now it could have dire consequences for Adi later on.

Ishu has said she'll never stand in the way of Raman's relationship or doing anything for Adi. So is it a matter of Raman being unsure that Ishu would drop the case against Adi? Did Shagun use this opportunity to cause a rift between Raman and Ishu by planting a seed of doubt in Raman's mind and taking the blame for the accident? Raman thought Ishu was mature and would understand but Shagun didn't think so and why Raman would trust her word when she's betrayed him?

Or is Raman really only just protecting Shagun to make sure Adi had his mother around? Has Raman forgotten that Adi had lived for years at a boarding school since Raman and Shagun separated?

Raman said there's a reason behind his actions, that's alarming his entire family including Ishu because it seems to revolve around Shagun and not Adi. Had it been Adi they would have all understood his behavior.

Ultimately, Raman has a lot of work to do to gain Ishu's trust.

Good post. I too presume the same. It would have been more simple if he had just told his family the truth. But then the story wouldn't have so many twists and turns.
Nyway am enjoying it but would love so many more ishra moments

I watched Dec 26th episode (when Ishu is trying to get Shagun to go to the hospital to sign papers for Ruhi's treatment)...interesting details about Shagun's agreement with Ashok that she won't bring her daughter to live with her or ever go back to the Bhalla's residence.

Will these two live up to their agreements/promises? Shagun leaves a trail of pain every time she gets involved in Raman's life. Yet somewhere in there we see moments of a mother who misses her child...but it doesn't sustain for more than a few minutes.

As long as Shagun calls the shots and Raman falls for it each time, there will never be peace or understanding in the Raman/Ishu marriage. He has to snap out of it and learn to keep things in broad daylight so Ishu can handle Shagun's antics ...something Raman hasn't been able to do.

😕 confused..after reading spoliers..i guess in future adi will confess isitha so that shagun will be saved..

hating this track and even enjoying...dont noe where this track will land😕

Raman probably knows that adi is responsible for amma's accident since day one. If it was shagun, then he would not be so cordial towards her.

Now it seems like Raman is digging a hole for shagun, if everything he has done so far is to trap her, then it is even harder to sympathize with him. he has been meticulously plotting against his ex wife the entire time but cannot tell his current wife? to me, that sounds twisted. CV's will never let raman fall from grace, though. they will show that he had a plan all along, and its success depended on not telling ishita🤪

or it could be that he is not playing games at all, but just protecting adi while using shagun as a cover up.

I don't know how this will go but I hope there is a proper redemption track for him because he has royally screwed up this time.

Raman was always shown as a straight shooter who could lie with a straight face but always did the right thing. If he threw Param out bec' of his moves on Ishu only to prove Ishu's innocence later, it doesn't fit his profile to be protecting the culprit of Amma's accident, this incident is worse. Unless he is protecting Adi a minor who is the real culprit, it doesn't make sense how Raman sees himself getting Adi out of this mess besides getting Ishu to drop all charges against Adi.

Raman once told Adi, his children meant more to him than Ishu. Is Adi manipulating this situation aided by Shagun to cause a rift between Raman and Ishu? As long as Raman lets Shagun call the shots in the name of "Adi ke liye" he will always be a puppet in their hands.

Adi is a preteen not a child. He's lived for years at a boarding school away from Shagun, so it doesn't make sense to say he needs his mother. He only came to live with Shagun after Raman married Ishu...to be used by Shagun to mess with their marriage.

Reality is, at this age children need to be around and learn more from a parent of the same gender. Shagun has done her part to mold Adi with her poor parenting. There is a lot to be undone to set him on the right track. Raman is in a soup right now, how he gets himself back in Ishu's good graces?
