Part II:

Background:

Raman drives like a maniac. Ruhi is scared s her papa looks like a monster. Raman drives into AIIMS, picks Ruhi and rushes to the ICU. As he enters he sees his and Ishita's family crying. He hands over Ruhi to his mother and rushes to the surgeon. They are waiting for him to sign off. He thinks, how he can sign papers that states Ishita might die. It cannot happen; he will not let it happen. He has to see Ishita and apologize. What is happening??? Why is he feeling like this? So numb, so in pain. WHY.

Mihir runs to him and points: Bhabhi. Raman looks up to see that Ishita is being wheeled in. She is so quiet, why is the Madrasan quiet? He looks at Mihir and says: tell her to talk to me, tell her to fight, tell her to give me lectures. Tell her. Mihir is crying.

Ruhi screams out Ishi Maa. Ishi Maa, wake up. Please. I told you that I did not want to leave you. Ishi Maa. Raman runs to Ruhi and consoles her. Everyone is crying. Suddenly Raman feels tears in his eyes. Before everyone could say Bazzinga, Raman is crying. All are pacifying him but only Bala and Mihir understand the reason behind his tears.

The surgeon tells the family that the next 24 hours are critical. It is imperative that Ishita does not get into a coma. Raman convinces all to head home. Except Mihir, the rest head home as Ruhi is crying and the members are finding it hard to pacify her. Raman is broken inside but needs to be strong. Only Ishita understood his tiredness and exhaustion. He was losing her...he had to fight and get her back FOR HIM.

ICU:

Ishita is unconscious. RKB walks in and sits next to her. In his quest for Adi, he was losing Ishita and Ruhi. She had made him realize his priorities again.

RKB: Ishita, I know I have hurt to you. But trust me it never had anything to do with Shagun. It had to do with Adi. Ishita, in the past I loved Shagun but now she is just Adi's mother. She is not even Ruhi's mother. You are Ruhi's mother. Ishita, I am sorry that I hid my feelings and problems from you. Our relationship was based on trust, respect and friendship. I broke it. I should not have done it. But I was confused. Ishita, I am not Ravan but a human. My love for Adi blinded all emotions. I thought you would understand but now I realize that you were right. Adi does not love me. Shagun and he were just using me. Ishita, I thought Adi had begun caring for me but he does not. In fact, he hates me. Remember, Ruhi used to hate me but you changed that. I used to be angry as I felt hurt and cheated by Shagun. Ishita, you do not know my past. All you know is Shagun and I had an acrimonious divorce but there is more. I want to share all my pain with you. You have been a true partner. When you found out that I thought Ruhi was not my daughter, you got the DNA test. You taught me to love my daughter again. You fought Parmeet to save my sister. You let Bala teach Adi. You have always supported me. When I was wrong, you have fought me. You and I have these little arguments that I never had with Shagun. Ishita, I do not want to compare my life with you with that I had with Shagun. Someday I will share my story but for now just trust me when I say I have no feelings for Shagun. For me, she is Adi's mother. That's it.

Ishita, when I hurt you, my heart bled; every time you cried, I felt the tears. But I could do nothing. I felt helpless. I should have shared my thoughts with you but I could not. Something stopped me. The hope that I would Adi would come back just like Ruhi did. I chose Adi over you but you thought I chose Shagun. Oh! Ishita, you could not be so wrong. How can I convince you? What should I do to make you believe that Shagun means nothing to me now? I heard you promise Ruhi that you will take her on a holiday. Ishita, I promise you that we will as a family go for a holiday, just the three of us. Even when I was with Shagun, I thought of you. How you take care of my needs, Ruhi's needs. But I had to go to get the truth out from Shagun about Amma's accident. I did. But now I need you to tell me what to do? Wake Up Ishita. Please. Your Ravan Kumar needs you.

You thought that you were not a part of my family? YOU ARE. You and Ruhi are my family. You are the ones who taught me to love, to trust, to laugh and to cry again. I return to be with you and Ruhi. You are the ones I love.

Raman paused. What did he just say? Did he say he loved Ishita?? How can that be possible? He married Ishita for Ruhi and not for him. Yet he felt emptiness when she was not around. Oh! God, when did he fall in love again? He looked at Ishita and smiled. He had fallen in love with the Madrasan. He was not just mad at her but mad for her. He started laughing and crying at the same time.

Raman aka Ravan Kumar Bhalla was in love. He felt like a kid in a candy store.

He looked at his wife and whispered "I love you Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla". With all my heart and soul, I love you. This time I know my marriage is forever. Thank You for leaving me Shagun.

As he said that he felt Ishita's finger move. She was returning to him and this time he meant to keep her happy.
