This I've written, just because I'm deeply pissed with the current track, it doesn't include any romance or anything happy, it just shows Ishita's angst towards Raman, which I feel is much needed. I've purposely kept the character of Raman as it is currently going, though as much as I would love to change his Gopi bahu avatar ( read it on the forum) I didn't.
This starts where Adi calls Raman asking him to take Shagun and him for a holiday. As usual, expected by all Raman agrees " Adi ke liye".
He's in a dilemma, how to tell everyone at home, clearly after what happened the night before, he couldn't speak the truth and he had already hidden so much from Ishita and the rest, that he decided to lie about the holiday in the name of a business conference, so that Ishita isn't hurt anymore, ( yes, that's what he thought, he seems to have lost all senses and definitely misunderstood his wife, who was above all a true hero in terms of understanding relationships and trust was her basic necessity, she didn't demand much, just a semblance of trust in their relationship yet RKB for the sake of his first born deprived her of the only thing she wanted to be present in their relationship)
Raman was in his usual mode of crying and being disturbed about the whole thing when he announced in the hall that he has a business conference in Bombay day after. Nobody responded, Toshi ji nodded her head and asked him when will he be back, he said a couple of days. His eyes were constantly staring at Ishita who was cooking in the kitchen, she didn't look up nor did she react when he said about the conference, he was slightly relieved that she didn't look up, because had she seen him, her eyes would have hurt him even more, but he couldn't even tell her the truth why? ( he had his reasons blah blah )
After finishing dinner, she walked to the room and started packing his things, he was utterly surprised, after everything, he didn't expect her to do that.
He came closer to her and said " Ishita , voh this conference is very important" he hated saying that, he felt like killing himself, but he just wanted to strike a conversation, and to see her packing he was feeling a bit better, that after all she trusted him and is giving him the space he was lying to her, but telling her the truth would have hurt her more. Yes, that's what he thought. She just smiled and said " I'm sure Raman, by the way it's just the two of us in this room, you need not lie anymore. He was shocked he said " what?" What are you saying" she said " oh, your wife called... Oops ex wife, mein bhi na, just get confused at times anyway she informed me about your holiday in Goa, oh I mean Family holiday!, toh I was thinking I'll pack your swim wear as well. It's too hot in Goa right.
He was shocked, she knew about it. His guilt reached to another level now, if only the ground could break and he would bury himself alive. He started " Ishita, I'm really sorry... I didn't mean to hide anything...but adiii.. She cut him in between" oh yeah Aditya ofcourse, he's your son right? I just confuse him being papaji sometimes., i don't know why I do that. He again said " I didn't know she would call you.im really sorry, please trust me I'm doing this only for... She again cut him" oh please, save it Raman, Shagun had her reasons in calling me, she wanted permission to take Ruhi for the holiday though I wondered, you're the one taking all the decisions, why did she need to call me? Anyway, I'm sure she meant well for Ruhi like always right? Raman again pleaded nearly in tears, Ishita please...b she said " oh you don't need to request me for anything, I frankly don't care but yes about Ruhi, sorry I'm not as cool as your...hmm sorry Shagun, her school just reopened a day before, she can't miss school now. Aditya surely has the coolest parents who only want the best for him, too bad Ruhi's mom or guardian whatever you want to call, isn't so cool she can't let her miss school. He again said " trust me I don't want to go but adii,! She said " cut the crap, will you? He's a child Raman, please stop blaming him for everything, if he's on a wrong track its your bloody duty to get him on the right track and not hide his mistakes. Raman is confused, he's thinking does she know everything? He says " so you know about it? She says Noo, I don't know about it, and now I'm not even interested, if you didn't feel worthy of telling him. I don't want to know.
