Well contrary to most people here, I have a very positive feeling. Till now YHM has shown us mature writing so I have faith that this scenario will lead to Raman and Ishita's relationship to go on a stronger level.

Recently we had a lot of scenes which shown the respect and understanding the couple has for each other. Ishita has been very understanding about his past and his relationship with Adi and in turn Raman has sensed that she is a woman who he could rely on, someone with whom he would be able to share his feelings, be it in happy times or bad times. They gave a new beginning to their marriage that night on that bench, they are in this together now.

I personally understand Raman's dilemma. It is not about Shagun but it has everything to do with his child's mental stability. Adi is a teenager already very perturbed by the happenings between adults around him. He has been fed lies, left to himself to be brought up by money. What is his fault? His only "solace" is his mom, his everything, the only adult he thinks he can rely on. He doesn't see his mom's real nature. If Shagun is jailed, Adi will be completely lost and most probably left in the uncaring hands of Ashok until the custody case can be reopened. How can Raman not consider his son's trauma then? It would be a very unnatural and cold reaction if he would have not paid heed to his son's plight!

In the end I'm sure Ishita will be the one with the final say. Judging from the on location video, I guess that Raman will first lie as he can not reveal the truth to the whole family. Then he will isolate himself to try and sort out his dilemma, to clear his head. The video shows a worried Ishita while there is a toofan outside. I guess Raman would be unreachable and when he will come back home (drenched?), Ishita who has already felt there is something wrong would questioned him. That is when he would break down and reveal everything to her. If I'm not wrong, Ishita who has been shown pretty understanding and mature will also consider a child's stability first before taking any decisions.

To those who say that sparing Shagun would set a bad example to Aditya, my question is would sending his mom to jail teach him what's morally right or wrong? Well I don't think so, it's not so simple ... Aditya needs attention and nurturing, a constant presence of an adult in his life who will teach him
good values. It might be my wishful thinking but I do think the track is leading to the reevaluation of Raman's parental rights, Raman and Ishita's marriage to go stronger and Adi very slowly changing his view on life under their influence.

That's a interesting post

And you have put it across quite well

I hope what you are saying happens

I guess adi and ishita scenes have some meaning

I guess in near future adi is coming to stay with them

Lets see

More or less all daily soaps are following a set pattern. At the very inception the fresh story line excellent script coupled with good acting succeeds in grabbing our eyeballs. Later on when we get attached, they turn jaded. This has been the strategy of the serial makers . they know we won't quit watching becoz of our fondness for the lead characters. Viewers are taken for granted. I am sorry it is my pov not intended to hurt anyone. Sincerely wish YTM to continue with the same freshness of initial days. Quality should not be compromised just for the sake of dragging the show for umpteen years. Hope our voices are heard.

Hi Leo... just caught this post

I dont think this is where the show will become regular. I have a feeling that even if he supports Shagun, He'll telll Ishita or she'll find out soon enough. I surely don't think that she will think he is doing this out of Love for Shagun. He has clarified that quite recently, and quite openly.

About your last sentence
"They could have done it in positive way too with Raman telling her everything and leaving her to decide and then respect and love would have happened

But then how would drama happen
"

@bold - i think this has MORE potential for drama. I told you in your rantings post yesterday na. Shagun off to jail means Adi comes into their life. Adi blames Ishita and Raman for his mom's plight. and he has MORE scope to cause problems for them. Shagun causing problems in Ishita/Raman relationship is so passe'

AGREED and also heard Anita is doing another show? So her absence might be covered by this track.

Well not that I am over protective of Indian shows or YHM but we're giving up way too soon. Raman's a changed man, and even though atm because of Adi's panicked state he did hide the truth. Ishita's niceness and both the family's trust has had him guilty. Even if Ishita finds the truth herself, he won't sit idle letting her believe he did it for Shagun, let her be in pain or broken over that fact. Ishita means a lot to him and that will hit him even harder than it has so far. There is a possibility that after fighting with his own self he might own up to the truth and Ishita will be touched. It could go many ways.

The bonding and understanding last few days and especially when it comes to Adi won't be left to waste. Ishita seeing how far Raman can go for Adi, the kind of happiness that kid gives him, the insults he bears from his own son and the pining. It's all for a reason. Either its because Ishita will realize the truth and shut the case altogether winning Raman over, or Raman getting Shagun arrested, or at least owning up to Ishita about it winning her over. In any way that I see it, eventually this is only to bring them both closer and make at least one of them fall for the other irrevocably.

good post

Lets see what happens

Hope what you are saying is correct

Its a harsh fact that the telly soaps fail to keep up the consistency and Quality for long , and a time comes when they go down the drain , It will happen with YHM too.
But still that time has not come as of now , I'm very much positive this time RKB will not let the matter go out of his hand , this track will bring some maturity in their relations .

I still have faith that this show will still be unique unlike others that withered and died after 100 epi
Unique in the sense I feel that Raman after a few moments of guilt will tell Ishu about Shagun's hand in the accident. Antoher unique factor could be with Ishu being the motivator to bring Adi back to the Bhalla house.
Hope I am not proven wrong but still have faith that this show will not go the route of the other Ekta shows.
