Another blooper y'day was Amma introducing Raman as "marumagan"🤔 instead of "mapilai" 😃the way Iyers do. Mihika and Vibhu are playing pranks with "feed the prasadam with wife on his lap" and the elders ignore it😉. Public displays of affection esp. by a married couple is not part of Iyer tradition.😳😆

Also, receiving anything or feeding with left hand is a big no-no.🤓

The place is Kanchipuram and the sarees are called Kachivaram derived from the British name given to the city, Conjevaram. It was commonly used so both Kaanchivaram and Kaanchipuram is correct. It's like Madras and Chennai. 😆

Mihika (seems she's part-Tamilian) speaks the best Tamil though she calls her Perima Peri-amma😃. Ishu has been improving recently and so has Mrs. Madhu Iyer. Best was Raman calling Sowmya Chi-thi on the phone, was perfectly enunciated.👏 Ishu's perfect enunciation was "shaniyane"😆, it was right on.👏
