Ishra OS- Ek Vivah Aaisa Bhi

Raman was broken. Or rather, it should be said that he was finished. He never expected that anything similar to this will happen. He looked at his and Ishita's engagement photo. Tears rolled down his eyes and fell on the photo and he asked to no one in particular, "Kyun? Aaisa kyun hua? Kya yeh jaroori tha? Kya humara door hona jaroori tha?"

Ishita was also crying. Even she had never expected anything as such to happen.

Their marriage broke off...

The story had started eight months back. Ishita and Raman's marriage was fixed. They met each other and found each other quite compatible. But still something was missing between them which was completed just a month back. They declared their love to each other.

Raman was always dramatic. In front of a number of people, he proposed Ishita, "Ishita, tumse milke mujhe pata nahi kya hua, har waqt tumhe socha, tumhare paas rehna chaha." He kneeled down and took out a ring from his pocket. "Aanewala har pal, har din, har mahina, har saal, har janam, main tumhara banke jeena chahta hoon Ishita. Aur main yeh chahta hoon ki tum meri banke jeeo. I love you Ishita. Main tumse pyaar karta hoon Ishita aur humesha karta rahoonga, marte dum tak aur marne ke baad bhi. Kaho, karogi mujhse shaadi?"

Ishita had said yes that day. All their nuptial rites were done with great pomp and show. On the day of marriage, Ishita was getting ready for the ceremony when a shocking news made her completely lost. Her parents had decided to visit Siddhivinayak that day before her marriage. On their return journey, the taxi they were sitting in had blasted due to the bomb kept by terrorists. In short, they died due to the terrorist attack.

The marriage was cancelled. Ishita was shaken from deep inside. She had no idea what she should do. Her father was a clerk in a private office so no pention and they had no source of income now. She was only 22 and her younger sister was 14.

After a month of the incident, Raman had come again to say about the marriage but Ishita had already taken the drastic step."Nahi Raman, main tumse shaadi nahi kar sakti."

R- Par kyun Ishita??

I-Mujhe apni behen ke future ko secure karna hai. Ghar ke loans bhi dene hai. Main jaanti hoon Raman ki tum yeh kahoge ki main tumhare ghar rehke aur Mihika ko bhi tumhare ghar rakhke yeh kaam kar sakti hoom lekin main tumhare ghar bahu banke jana chahti thi, koi anath, besahaara aurat banke nahi. Iske aage aur kuch mat kehna, mera faisla nahi badlega.

Raman was about to leave when he turned and said, "Main tumhare faisle ki izzat karta hoon lekin ek baat yaad rakhna Ishita, maine jab tumse shaadi ke liye pucha tha to kaha tha ki har janam mein main tumhara banke jeena chahta hoon, yeh janam to bas abhi suru huyi hai, aage aage dekho hota hai kya..."

Ishita had lost all hope of getting married to Raman but fate had something else stored for her. Raman made his visits to Iyer House frequent. Almost every weekend he came there. Along with him came his mother Toshijee, who was the only person in Raman's life apart from the Iyers.

After a month Ishita went to the bank for loan transaction but to her surprise, she found that all the debts were cleared and it was none other than Raman who had done that. She angrily asked him, "Kyun kiya tumne aaisa Ramab? Kya chahte ho tum? Apna ahsaan jatana chahte ho tum mujh par ki tumne mere sar se karz utaar diya? Haan?"

Raman just smiled, "Ishita, mujhe pata hai ki tum apne shaadi ke gehne bechke yeh loan chukati. Yeh gehne, Iyer uncle ne apne khoon pasine ke paison se banvaya hai aur tum inhe...khair inhe pehenke tumhe mere hi ghar aana hai to hisab barabar hua."

For the next two weekends, Raman did not come to Iyer House. Somehow Ishita could understand that he was angry on her. So the next weekend, she went to his house.

When she reached there, he was all alone as Toshijee had gone to temple. She asked him, "Raman, tum pichle do hafte ghar kyun nahi aaye??"

Raman- Ab baarbaar tumhare ghar jaake main tumpe ahsaan nahi jataana chahta hoon Ishita.

I- Raman, I am so sorry, mujhe tumse uss din who saari bakwas...

R- Ab jab tumhe apni galti ka ahsaas hai to sirf maafi se kaam nahi chalega. Galti ki hai, saza to milegi.

I- Kya saza Raman?

He advanced towards her and pulled her by her waist. He looked passionately towards her lips and slowly lowered his face. Ishita was getting uncomfortable with proximity and closed her eyes. Raman, as if sensing it, stopped in midway and kissed her forehead. Ishita looked at him and he said, "Inn sab cheezon ke liye poori zindagi baaki hai. Filhal issi se kaam chala lete hai."

Again life became normal. Ishita was busy in her office and home and her only relief was Raman's visit to Iyer House. He took all of them to dinner frequently. Ishita had tried a lot to convince him for marriage but it was impossible as she was the only one who wanted him to get married. One day as usual she said to Raman, "Raman, bohot din ho chuke hai humari shaadi ko tute huye, tumhe nahi lagta ki ab tumhe shaadi kar leni chahiye?"

Raman- Ishita, kya main tumhari zindagi mein koi problem hoon?

M- Kya? Nahi nahi...

Raman- Fir tum kyun meri shaadi karwake mujhe apne aap se alag karna chahti ho? Ek baat tum batao mujhe Ishita, kya mujhse dur hone ke baad tum khush ho paogi?

Ishita came and sat beside him and said, "Shayad nahi..." Raman said, "Bas Ishita aur kuch mat kehna, tum bhi khush nahi rahogi aur nahi main..."

M- Par Raman, kab tak tum iss tarah mere liye..

Raman- Jab tak hai jaan Ishita. Tumhare liye main apni poori zindagi intezaar karne ke liye taiyaar hoon. Aur shayad apne agle janmon mein bhi..."

Ten years passed away. Mihika, Ishita's younger sister had then grown into a young woman. Ishita had become 32 but still her charms were no less than 10 years ago. Raman still used to visit them as usual and had not married yet. The only thing was everybody was aged.

One day Ishita was getting ready to go to the office when she suddenly saw Raman and Mihika whispering something intently. As soon as they saw her, they became quiet and started doing their respective works. Ishita frowned and went to office as usual. But to her surprise, when she returned from office that evening, again she saw Raman and Mihika discussing something.

Seeing her Raman asked, "Ishita, aaj tum dono mere saath dinner pe chelogi? Tumhe kissi se milwana hai."

M- Okay chalungi par kisse milwana hai?

Raman- Tum chalo to sahi...

When they reached the restaurant Ishita was surprised to see that Raman had booked a beautifully decorated terrace area for them. After fifteen minutes of their arrival, she saw a young handsome guy approaching towards them. Raman introduced him as his friend Mihir.

Before the arrival of the dinner, Raman suddenly held Ishita's hand and said, "Ishita, pichle das saal maine tumhara intezaar kiya hai. Ab to Mihika bari ho gayi hai, kkhud naukri karti hai. To tum kya ab mujhse shaadi karogi??"

I- Raman.. main...Mihika akeli kaise...

Raman-Ussi silsile mein to Mihir yaha aaya hai.

I- Kya matlab?

Raman- Mihika aur Mihir ek doosre se pichle 6 saalon se pyaar karte hai aura b yeh shaadi karna chahte hai.

Ishita looked at both of them. While Mihika was looking down and blushing, Mihir smiled at Ishita and said, "Ishita didi, main aapse apki behen ka haath maangta hoon. Kya aap apni behen ki shaadi mujhse karwayengi??"

Ishita had liked Mihir a lot and it looked like they were madly in love with each other. So, she just nodded her head with a smile.

Raman again held her hand and said, "To ab to meri saalijee ki bhi shaadi ho rahi hai, ab to tum maan jaao...pls..."

Mihika- Akka, maan jao na...

Mihir- Ha didi, Raman bhai aapse bohot pyaar karte hai. Maan jaiye iss shaadi ke liye...

Ishita smiled at Raman and nodded a yes. All the four rejoiced. Later when Toshijee came to know about this, she blessed both the couples.

Two month later, both the couples were married.
