Is it possible that Trisha was not really in love with Neil ..they never clarified how they met etc when Trisha was in London all along and Neil in Delhi..
Maybe when Trisha was staying as a PG in amma's house, Amma had told her to back off from Mihir because he loves Mihika ...At that point, she got friendly with Neil and decided to fake an engagement with him to let Mihir confess... ..but later broke it or whatever ...? and angry Neil did this when he realized that Trisha doesn't really love him???? ..Maybe Trisha does have another lover who's in London...
