Raman decided to pick up his kids from school, because he was extremely excited and contented with his life, he was on cloud 9, he had Adi and Ruhi with him, his most priced possessions. He wanted to spend time with them.He reached their school 5 minutes before time. He was impatiently waiting for both his kids. He was standing on the school gate when someone from behind patted his shoulder and said " hey baby" he turned back to find Shagun standing there. His expression changed automatically,he felt disgusted by the touch of the sleazy woman, there was a time when he just wanted Shagun to be in front of him 24/7, but now bearing her for merely 24 seconds was not tolerable to Raman. He said " what the hell are you doing here ?" To which she responded I've come to pick up my kids, just like you,darling.Till the time he could respond Adi came out screaming mom and dad, you both came to pick me up I feel so blessed. Raman had to shut up, he did feel like giving woman a good enough answer but that would have hurt Adi, and he couldn't do that. He just smiled and asked where's Ruhi? Adi said he saw her coming with a few friends a while back, she'll be here any minute.Raman's eyes desperately searched for his daughter, he loved Adi dearly but he was more protective of Ruhi. He saw Ruhi, who came hugging to him and he picked her up in his arms, Ruhi saw Shagun and felt a sheer of discomfort.Raman noticed and he signalled Adi that he'll be back within a minute and went a little far away from them to talk to Ruhi, he inquired about her day and when she asked about Ishima, he smiled broadly and said, she's in the clinic beta, she has only told me to pick you up. Meanwhile, Shagun was telling Adi something in his ears. When Raman and Ruhi returned, Adi said he wanted to have lunch at a good restaurant with both his parents and Ruhi.Raman couldn't say anything, but he knew Shagun must be having something to do with it. Nonetheless, he said okay where ever you want to go. Ruhi said I want to go to Ishima, Adi talked her into it, by saying they'll have a nice lunch buffet with delicious deserts, Ruhi wouldn't have agreed had Raman not intervened and requested Ruhi to listen to Adi.the four walked towards the car, Raman sat on the driving seat and when Shagun was about to open the door of the passenger seat next to him Ruhi rushed and sat on that seat, saying I'll sit with papa.Shagun was disgusted and Raman couldn't help smiling. He said ' sure princess'and winked at her, she winked back at him. he muttered to himself " Jhansi ki Rani ne Achi training di hain beti ko.Shagun and Adi sat on the back seat. Raman asked Adi where he wanted to go, he said " Olivia" .
Ishita was in her clinic, when Sarika came and told her that there was someone in her cabin waiting for her. She went to find out Mihir and Mihika, they had come to take her out for lunch, They loved their Bhabhi and AKka respectively and were quite sympathetic towards her, and they hated Shagun was now living in Bhalla household.They had to make her feel good. Thus, they pressurised her into having lunch with them and the restaurant they picked was Olivia. Ishita did try to refuse a lot, but Mihir and Mihika were quite adamant, Mihir said he had tried calling bhai, but bhai hadn't picked up, Ishita said she knew he had gone to pick up the kids must have taken them out, so don't disturb him she'll come with them.
Shagun Raman Ruhi and Adi were sitting at the centre table. While Adi and Ruhi were busy eating appetisers, Raman was admiring his kids by looking at them fondly and Shagun was constantly starting at Raman. That is when Ishita, Mihika and Mihir walked in and sat on the opposite side. They ordered and were talking, when Shagun saw Ishita, she couldn't believe that she had come here also. But she decided to take this, to her advantage. She pulled her seat an inch closer to Raman. Raman was too busy admiring his kids and the lovely food, to notice her though he was constantly thinking about had Ishita been here, he would have had to eat veg, but still he wanted her there. He wanted his family complete. He was terribly missing her in his thoughts, he had even picked up the menu and picked out a vegetarian dish for her and was mentally thinking about how she would lecture him had the dish not been good, that's when Shagun kept her hand on his face, he immediately shouted what the hell? And she said Arey, there's something there I was trying to remove it. He was completely disgusted and said he'll do it. The way he shouted, he was pretty audible to everyone.Ishita saw them and was Shocked. So were Mihir and Mihika, their plan of cheering up their Bhabhi/akka had terribly failed. Mihir started to get up when Ishita held her hand and said No. She looked at Adi and Ruhi, she couldn't ruin their happiness, though she did drop a tear. All sorts of crappy random pathetic sad thoughts infused her brain. Was she an outsider? Was this the perfect family? Had it all be a facade? She didn't want to think all this, she mentally hated herself for thinking like this but the way Shagun was behaving made her feel like that. Shagun felt victorious.
At home, Ishita was crying in the kitchen when she heard the door Bell. She wiped her tears immediately and rushed to Ruhi's room, she couldn't see them all again together. She already felt pukish. Romi opened the door, Mrs and Mr Bhalla were sitting on the sofa when Ruhi and Raman asked mrs Bhalla almost together ishita? Ishima ? Kahan hain?" Ruhi started laughing, Raman gave a shy smile. Shagun was infuriated and Adi didn't really have an expression :p nonetheless Romi said Bhabhi Ruhi ke room mein. Both the father daughter rushed to meet their life. They were incomplete and presence of Shagun had made them both quite restless they needed their self assurance, their love, they were immensely dependent on Ishita in their own way. They just needed to meet her.Ruhi saw Ishita and hugged her ishimaaa. I missed you. Ishita kissed Her and said me too beta." Raman wished she could tell her the same. When Ruhi went to the washroom, Raman came close to Ishita and said " aur Mrs Raman kumar Bhalla how was your day?" she said " nothing" and walked away.
