From a very realistic start where Ekta actually put a child over concepts of love , YHM went on to become a fake Ekta serial as usual . I knew it would happen eventually , the question was only when . Answer is with Mihir engagement track .

It was so FAKE . Where does this happen that someone spends lakhs and lakhs over an engagement simply to coerce a confession . Where does it happen that the fiancee , coming all the way from London embroils herself in a suckworthy plan on the day she lands . Where does it happen that all the sasural people r in cahoots to do another fake drams to get the guy to confess by breaking his engagement .

So realistic YHM used to be . And see how it is today . With the salsas and Ekta Kapoor party tamashas and engagement tamashas and fake shining of Raman and Ishita .

So

Mhika the goddess was finally offered her due worship

she wept and said Akka our plan worked !!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????[ What plan ? That ridiculous one ?]

Bala the sage said Mihir finally got dum

Raman supposedly shone like the sun

Ishita smiled maternally with the gaudy necklace

Mihir wept and wept and got a spine it seems during all this weeping

Tandon fumed [ and rightfully so] but that voice of right will be quickly diffused tomorrow by South Indian charm .

Simmi looked bored [ anything and everything unrelated to Param the stud bores her nowadays]

Toshi was shocked and Madhu beamed .

Mihir track was boring , suckworthy and fake . Thank god it ENDED . Now if the writers haven't exactly changed can they show something meaningful .

The only saving grace was Karan Patel looked handsome . How much that actor who plays Mihir got slapped . His cheeks will swell like laddus .

yeah that was overly dramatic... but everything in a drama cant be real... and moreover... if in accordance to the novel they'll show ishita with shades of grey.. indian audience will not accept it... for indian audience the protagonists should be hero and heroin... with no grey shades in them.. totally white.. and even if they behave badly they should have a reason towards it...
because even today most of the indians are still lost in the perfect bahu crap... i mean see in every serial.. the leads will always be positive no matter what... this is indian mentallity
and its only recently that audience has started to accept that indian tv bahus can work outside... otherwise their life was restricted to the kitchen...

I thought the episode was good in the sense that we finally saw the end of the Trisha-Mihir-Mihika drama. I also thought the last scene was a nice surprise, and kudos to KP for his acting there. I see a lot of people say they believe this is movement towards the Raman-Ishita love story, but I'm not sure I'm entirely convinced yet. We do see moments, the biggest (for me) was the salsa dance last week, with both understanding through dance what one meant to other, and that was beautiful to watch. But then sometimes I feel their story stagnates in some ways. For example, I hope after this episode we get to see a conversation between the two where they really learn more about each other's broken pasts, that way they can help heal each other's present so they can seriously think about their future together as husband and wife, and as parents. I do believe they are falling for each other, if not already deep down, in love. But I need some proper movement, CVs! If today indeed was a glimpse, they better have some more of that in larger and more serious doses here on out! Or maybe I'm just really desperate and starved for Raman-Ishita scenes. 😆

No , they will never show Ishita grey and i don't expect it . I rather like the way she was shown till now , a confident young woman , having a career and i do not agree with Shagun's behenji assesment at all . Nothing about Ishita is behenjee . Its merely snobbish ridicule and YHM with Ekta Kapoor 's crowd mentality harps on it constantly . My only hope is that she tries to understand Raman on her own , not through Bala 's advice and is not overtly attached to her mother and sisters and deproritizes him before them like a serial i recently saw and ultimately grew sick of . Bas , this is my only expectation . And i do hope they don't make Raman Ishita too childish for the teenage crowd bUt show them as mature adults which they r , one of the reasons i did not like the Mihir track . The plot was childish after a mature presentation of YHM .

Good ranting again Vyas. I don't visit this post often. But, I find it more attracting than the written updates when I don't watch the original episode. And, this time also, this did tell me about the main points of the episode as like Isha's post.

These daily drama series handle life's issues but some drama like in today's episode is normal I guess.. Just relax and enjoy the ride😊

well agree and this been a soap drama is to be expected and well Raman won't accept easily

it was gud epi...
happy thing whole drama come to an end...
Raman-Mihir scene was gud... Karan/Raj did it really well...
loved their bonding... end mein their hug... awww moment for me... Raman was too gud in whole epi...
loved Raman - Tondon convo... he was too gud wid his dialogues...
and when he talked abt his pain of a broken marriage, damn 😭
very heart touching... Divyanka too was gud in that scene...the way she felt his pain... her expressions were awesome...
and Vibhu as always my cutie pie... gonna miss him :(
i also like how they cleared that initial Raman was against Mihika...and then realized they both love each other... but wanted Mihir to confess... so whole drama ...
over all gud epi wid an end to fake engagement drama...

bas one thing i want more...Ishita too deserve credit in Mihir confessing his feelings...
i hope they will give her due credit too

It was always ever loosely based on the book, if it were to go and do the same thing, it would have definitely turned into a typical ekta drama, just misery, sadness, never ending pain and drama, the book is quite depressing to say the least, don't know how it would have worked out . Also now matter how realistic a show is, and I can bet you people would have been complaining if it went book route.it's still a drama, it's always going to far removed from reality either ways, you say it's fake, where does it happen well obviously its a bit exaggerated, that's the whole point, it can be done cause it is a drama and it's more fantasy,it's the same with English dramas and Asian dramas, compared to those ekta shows are saints, and lots of which I watch, I don't Expect it to be realistic, show me different things and different drama. Unless it was a documantry or a real life story of someone it would be different. I've seen most of ekta dramas, the typical route she takes and tbh for me atleast it hasn't happened here, the tracks are balanced swaying from negative and positive. The evil characters don't get away for long with anything, the main leads know about the evilness of negative characters, they don't take up to much space and most of them aren't overbearing like other negative characters seen before. tbh YHM was never really fully realistic at all, it's realism comes from how characters react and develope and how they are all different, a women not being able to conceive, extra martial affairs, divorce and so forth, so you would it have preferred them not doing salsa or anything like that, it's also a love story as well. I liked mihir's tracks, it's fine you didn't, but after the serious drama, something light was a good break. After all this is a daily show they can't be showing the same track forever, they have to have different tracks and they all don't have to be meaningful all the time, I'm sure there will be more drama to come with ruhi, but not now. Though one thing learnt from mihir's track is to stand up for yourself. Frankly our show is far ahead from the rest, and I feel like it still has maintained the essence of the show. I'm just going along with the flow. And,I love how YHM is going. Just my 2cents. We will agree to disagree.

Also mancity, really enjoyed your post, agree with everything, the ep was really good. Got some insight into raman in terms of his last line, which was interesting, deff gonna be hard for him to except falling in love with ishu.

Raman was good today, recently his taken over from ishita and giveing good lectures 😊
Although i do read spoilers,im happy the episode surprises us with something we don't think we will get, the end scene a indirect movement in raman and ishita relationship.

well agree

I really don't know why everyone is telling me that it is a serial and how realism is not expected ...where do i expect total realism ? I only pointed out that a serial has to have an amalgamtaion of 40 % realism that strikes a chord and 60% drama . Formerly it was so . Now it isn't .It is 100% Ekta now . Even Ishita marrying to save a child from child abuse was drama but other things were there . This track is unbelievable from A to Z for me and thats why i said ...lone voice of dissent . They were my views alone ...really don't expect anyone to agree .
